Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Is the power of God working within
you? It should be, if you are doing it
God’s way and in Jesus’ Name. We’ve discussed in the past, that EVERY
Promise has a condition you must meet.
Why? Because God doesn’t want a
bunch of spoiled brats, who say “gimme” and expect a miracle to happen for what
problem they usually created.
It is nice to know, that God
[Abba] knows when you’ll accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, so He does keep
tabs on the saved and unsaved through our lifetime. This way the enemy [Twerp] will not be able
to take the unsaved before their time.
Today, men and women (in America more women) speak
like they were truck drivers. Most curse,
not because of lack of knowledge, but out of habit and most don’t even realize
they are doing it, every other word.
What a shame that Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the ministering angels must
listen to it.
For myself, I’ve been in a
restaurant with just a few people there and everything echoed in the room,
including the cursing of Jesus. It
became a lot worse, so I asked the woman if she would stop, or at least lower her voice, she gave me a hard
time, until the man that was with her said I was right – and she stopped
PTL. Another time, I was passing my boss
and he used Jesus H. C…, and as I walked by I simply said Jesus had nothing to
do with the problem.
We always have a way to
politely ask someone to tone down their speech, or we can leave the area, just
as we have the right to turn the TV or Music off, if it’s offensive. Tell me, why are Christians not standing up
for our Lord – it’s a perfect way to remind them, who they are cursing – the
giver of Life.
Sorry to make this so long,
but… Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their
lives to the death.” So unless we
speak up, how will our testimony be heard?
How can we overcome this world?
How can we tell the world the truth?
Several of my Bible Study group
were unsure of what Abba had called them to do, so I got on line searched out
some church denominations on the testing they did on their congregation, then
re-did it for individuals.
It was amazing, because most
raised a certain way found out that what Abba called them to do, was exactly
what they had been trained in most of their lives. Me, it was always teaching/helping others,
what the Lord had taught me.
Also, the other amazing
thing was EVERY ONE had the highest no
way score desiring to be a missionary.
Yet when we reviewed what a missionary is individually, we all changed
our scores. A missionary does not have
to sell their house, leave home and loved ones or live in a grass shack, with mud floors. Some have the desire for this, but definitely
none of my group – hehe.
I explained
every time we leave our house, or go to work, we encounter various people, some
never having heard the name Jesus. We
could share with them what He’s done for us in conversation, and then ask if
they needed prayer for anything. My mother (age 54),
sister (26), nephew (4) and grandmother (74) all received Christ this way, they
needed healing and Abba did a miracle for each of them immediately. PTL!
I read a story once, where a
pastor went to work every day, passing a prostitution establishment and he
cursed it daily. He told another
minister how he’d prayed for several months, and the place just enlarged. The other minister suggested that Blessing
the place might work better, since Abba does not work through cursing. Matthew
5:44-45 says, “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who spitefully use
you and persecute you,” (45) “that
you may be sons of your Father in
heaven; for He makes His sun rise
on the evil and on the good, and
sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” The place closed down after just weeks of
blessing it.
Abba will not answer judging prayers; He
always knows the right way to handle any situation and the people
involved. But I assure you, He will not
work thru your anger. Look what happened
to Moses, in his anger toward the complaining Israelites, he lost his temper
and hit the rock 2 times instead of what Abba told him to do – speak to
it. For that, Moses did not get to go to
the Promised Land, Joshua took them instead. (Numbers 20:11-12)
Times are a changing, we are in the
“latter days” and the Church is being judged first, yes the Twerp is allowed to
attack more, but as the Bible says, this is weeding the chaff from the wheat
also, bring the back-sliders home. So
hang in their, read your Bibles often. PRAY for the unsaved and ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to what He wants you to see. Remember, James 4:2, “You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight
and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.” Abba would
fix things for us, if we would just ask, then believe Him by confessing “IT’S IN ABBA’S HANDS” He knows what’s best.
There is a book by Kerry Kirkwood called “The Power of Blessing” I would highly
recommend you read, or download the kindle book on Amazon.com
Blessings to you and your
loved ones,
Your Sister In Christ,
Sandy F. – The Lord’s Servant
