Are You Overwhelmed With Making Changes?

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

If you’re a young Christian, trying hard to be the best you can be, all in a few days, I’m sure you’re overwhelmed, I know I was.  The Lord does not say you’ll have all the knowledge at once, in fact I doubt we could deal with it all in just a couple of days.  That’s why the song says “One day at a time, sweet Jesus, that’s all I’m asking of You, help me today, show me the way, one day at a time.
Your spirit was born again the minute you asked Jesus for forgiveness of your sins, but your mind must be renewed and that can take awhile, depending on how long you lived in the world [satan's area].  So don’t sweat the small stuff.   Just ask the Holy Spirit to help you to apply and speak God’s Word in your life.

James 1:18
In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.”

As you learn from the Holy Spirit and His Word, He’ll teach you what He wants you to know and change to fulfill what Abba [Father] has created you to do.  Keep in mind Abba taught Jesus for 30 years to fulfill a 3½ year perfect ministry for God.  Time is short, and I’m seeing many more come to the Lord, with a hunger and thirst for His Word.  That’s fantastic, providing they are able to apply [live] the Word in their life.
I still swear today, that after I read the Bible through about 5 times, the Lord or Holy Spirit added more in it, because something new was there that I’d never seen!  I’m sure the Holy Spirit just laughed at me.  Because I didn’t need to see it at that time, but when I was ready, He revealed it!  PTL!  And He is still revealing new revelation knowledge to me as I seek Him out.
I know now, He did not want to overwhelm me, yet there was much I needed to learn, to complete my purpose here on earth.  Like you will, I repented daily for my screw-ups, and He forgave me each time as He will you.
Here are a couple of things to remember:
o     Forgive yourself
o     Speak blessings into you life – breaking the curses
o     Stop complaining or judging others
o     List some of your new characteristics developed in Christ. See
1 Corinthians 12:6-13 to know you are on the right track
o     Declare daily, Isaiah 57:17, “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you [God] will condemnThis is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD.”

Abba, in Jesus’ Name, I pray for my brothers and sisters that they do not become overwhelmed as they study Your Word.  Help them Holy Spirit to apply what they learn one step at a time – quickly, but assuredly having the confidence and knowledge they need to represent You, glorifying and honoring You in all they do.

Blessings to you and your loved ones,

Your Sister In Christ,
Sandy F. – The Lord’s Servant
