Dear Brothers, Sisters, Prodigals and
Unsaved,
Starting with Matthew Chapter 6 today and the Lessons are loaded here too. Since, it's all most all in red letter, it actually Jesus talking to us. He's telling us about our blessings available
concerning Alms and prayers, fasting,
mammon and anxiety. So hang in there,
there is much for us to see and apply in our lives.
Hope this layout is a little better for you
- it is or me. Sorry I did not have a
blog in last Sunday, the twerp [satan] has been attacking my health, so please
pray for me, as I pray daily for all of you, who read the blogs.
Verse NOTE: ALL meanings are from Strong's
Concordance.
- [Matthew 6:1-4 NKJV] 1 "Take heed that you
do not do your charitable deeds =[ALMS
in O.T.] before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from
your Father in heaven. 2
"Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet
before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that
they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their
reward. 3 "But when you do
a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is
doing, 4 "that your
charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will
Himself reward you openly."
o The
meanings of ALMS is mercy, pity especially. as
exhibited in giving alms, charity
o Jesus
wanted us to beware, when we give
ALMS; which is when we give to charities or donations, don't tell others the glory is not yours, but Abba's [God's]. If you do, you will get NO REWARD for
taking the glory from Abba. Those
that do, are hypocrites.
o When
you give ALMS, let i be in SECRET and Abba will reward you and repay you.
o NOTE:
Once you've paid your tithe, He protects your 90 for the month, anything else
you give is an offering or ALMS which Abba promises a 30, 60, or 100 fold
return of blessings for you [Matthew
13:8] Abba's return on what you give
to help others is 30x's what you gave, or 60x's or 100x's - See what A GREATER INVESTMENT OUR GOD IS!

[Matthew
6:5-7 NKJV] 5 "And when you
pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing
in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have
their reward. 6 "But you, when you pray, go into your room,
and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who [is] in the secret
[place]; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7 "And when you pray, do not use vain
repetitions as the heathen [do]. For they
think that they will be heard for their many words."
o They
are not talking about corporate prayer; in a Bible Study or Church, but you're
daily personal prayers, talking to Abba is GOOD, but you must also give a few
minutes to talk back to you, if He has something to say.
o Repeating
the same prayers over and over is telling Abba, He isn't listening to you, so
you're doubting you'll receive your answers.
o The
Bible says in, Hebrews 11:6 "without faith, it's impossible to please
Abba." And in [Hebrews 11:1] "NOW FAITH
IS the substance of things
HOPED for and the EVIDENCE
of things not seen." Which is what I believe you're praying for.
o After
you pray for something, believing Abba, in Jesus' Name, then continue PRAISING Him for His answer.

[Matthew
6:9, 13-15 NKJV] 9 "In this
manner, therefore, pray: Our Father
in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
... 13 And do not lead us into
temptation, But deliver us from the
evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen. ... 14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.15 "But
if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father
forgive your trespasses."
o If
you read verses 5-15, here are some definitions for you...
o Hallowed = anything thing that is
DEDICATED TO GOD
o Forgive = to permit, allow, not to hinder, TO GIVE
UP A THING TO A PERSON
o Hypocrite
= an actor, stage player or a
DISSEMBLER, PRETENDER.
o Temptation = TRIAL, PROVING: a man's
fidelity, integrity, virtue, constancy, your internal temptation to sin and
rebel against Abba. - Also, this MATURES US in His WORD. The trial made of you, by your bodily
condition, since condition served AS TO TEST THE LOVE OF THE GALATIANS
toward Paul (Galatians 4:14 )
o Bread in this case = in this case, is
any substance needful in our lives.
o Debt = that which is justly or
legally due, a debt
o Debtor = one held by some obligation,
bound by some duty to you
o I
highly recommend you forgive anyone who has hurt you in some way. In fact, "BLESS" them in the POWER
OF OUR BLESSING so the Holy Spirit [HS] can work on them. Abba NEVER WORKS through your anger - all
that happens then, is Luke 6:38
give and it will be given. That would
include ulcers, high blood pressure and many other medical problems too.

6:16-18 NKJV] 16 "Moreover, when
you FAST, do not be like the
hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces
that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have
their reward. 17 "But you,
when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 "so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who [is] in
the secret [place]; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you
openly."
o Comb
your hair, smile, dress as you do every day.
Only the hypocrites do he opposite, maybe even anoint your forehead with a
little Olive Oil. They forget their
appearance, in order to be seen - TRULY, they will not have their reward in
full.
o Only
Abba needs to see you fasting in secret and He will reward you in full - for
your sacrifice.

[Matthew
6:19-20 NKJV] 19 "Do not lay
up for yourselves treasures on earth, where
moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth
nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."
o WHY? Because on earth, there are all sorts of
insects, rust and thieves that destroy or steal your stuff. Plus, you cannot take any of it with you to
Heaven! New hearts, bodies, homes,
clothes and food will be supplied by Abba.
What more could you need?
o HOW? Doing the works "to Abba's Glory"
in all you do. We are rewarded,
especially when we do it Abba's way [WORD] as Jesus is revealing to us in
Chapters 5, 6, 7 they are almost all in RED LETTERS.

[Matthew
6:22-23 NKJV] 22 "The lamp of the body is the eye. IF therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23
"But IF your eye is bad,
your whole body will be full of darkness. IF therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how
great [is] that darkness!"
o Remember - WE ARE TO BE THE LIGHT AND SALT OF
THE EARTH! When Abba puts an IF in the Bible, it means it's your choice to do or not to do - but He tells us the consequences when we don't.
o Light = anything emitting light is emitting Jesus - He will light all of
Heaven [Revelation 21:23 ] and we're the BODY OF CHRIST.
o Salt = food which is seasoned
[prepared] for sacrifices are sprinkled with saline matter, used to fertilize arable land.
o Abba's
Light has the extremely delicate, subtle, pure, brilliant quality - i.e., like
father, like child.

[Matthew 6:24
NKJV] "No one can
serve two masters; for either he
will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and
despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."
o Keep
in mind - YOU CANNOT WALK ON A FENCE, living in God and try to live in the
World. You'll desensitize your spirit or
your flesh. The flesh never agrees with
your spirit! And as it says in [Mark 3:25 ] "And if a house [body] divided against itself, will FALL!
o MAMMON
= riches or treasure (where it is personified and any thing opposed to God)

[Matthew 6:25
NKJV] "Therefore I say to you, do
not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor
about your body, what you will put on. Is
not life more than food and the body more than clothing?"
o For
this reason, Jesus says DO NOT BE ANXIOUS for your life; including what you
will eat, drink nor for your body or what you wear.
o WHY?
If you are more worried about what you eat or how you dress, then you do
about your relationship with Abba, then you have your priorities wrong.
o Remember - [Matthew 6:33 NKJV] "But
seek first the kingdom
of God
o We'll
discuss this verse more below.
o Added = repeat, again, give more,
increase, lay unto, proceed further or to speak any more.

[Matthew
6:26-27 NKJV] 26 "Look at the
birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns;
yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not of more value than they?
27 "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his
stature?""
o IF BIRDS do not have to sow or reap and
yet Abba feeds them, are you not worth more than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a
day to your life span?

6:28-30 NKJV] 28 "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how
they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 "and yet I say to you that
even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 "Now if God so clothes the grass of
the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, [will He] not
much more [clothe] you, O you of little faith?"
o This
makes the 2nd time, we're told not to worry about anything. IF you're worrying, then you are NOT TRUSTING
GOD! So turn your worry over to Abba.
o What was the Centurion's faith based
on? In Matthew 8:9-10 9 "For
I also am a man under authority, having
soldiers under me. And I say to this [one], 'Go,' and he goes; and to
another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does
[it]." 10 When Jesus heard
[it], He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found
such great faith, not even in Israel
o WHY? Because the Centurion understood
"AUTHORITY" which is exactly what I've been teaching you for the last
7 years. Jesus gave us ALL the Authority
that Abba gave Him, while on earth. WE'RE JUST NOT BELIEVING BY FAITH and
ACTIONS that we have it! Is THAT ABBA'S FAULT? NO! - It's YOURS!
o [Hosea 4:6 NKJV] "My
people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected
knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me [1 Peter 2:9]; Because you have
forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."
o Even
in the O.T., the Prophet Hosea warned his people what Abba is still warning us of today, how the
twerp [satan] would try and destroy us.

[Matthew
6:32-34 NKJV] 32 "For after all
these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you
need all these things. 33 "But seek FIRST the kingdom of God
o The
unsaved and some Christians are still anxious for these things, but you would
NOT BE! IF you will SEEK JESUS FIRST and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, then ALL these things would be added to you. Remember Abba FIRST! ONLY HE
HAS THE ANSWERS YOU SEEK FOR.
As usual, I'll close with this prayer 4 U: Father, in Jesus'
Name I'm asking You to reveal, to Your Children, how to think from Heaven's perspective, so we can release Heavenly solutions to others and help us NOT TO LEAD with our head, but with the heart of JESUS! - In
