2 SCRIPTURES I BELIEVE ARE BETTER INTERPRETED...

SF, Stagecoach, NV
Dear Brothers & Sisters - Saved and Unsaved

Since no one emailed me to teach additional topics in my Book, I guess whatever I do will be alright with you.  Should you want another topic that confuses you, or you’d like to understand better – let me know –  I’m here for you.
There are 2 Scriptures that many interpret not to it's fullness, that really drives me nuts…so I thought I’d share them with you.
Have you ever done something, since you became a Christian – and feared Jesus or Abba would be mad at you?  Peter, wanted to do what Jesus did, but screwed up?  Why?  Because he looked at his circumstances and figured he was a goner – there was no hope for him except for Jesus – and he was right.  I’m sure Peter thought “I’m in trouble now” and probably thought oh well; sinking is what I deserve – BUT…Our Lord doesn’t let people sink.
Don’t let the world let you think Jesus is letting you sink.  That’s the enemy’s position; to kill, steal and destroy NOT Abba’s.  Jesus saved Peter when he asked for HELP and He will for you too.
Many Pastors use this scripture for a FAITH Topic; it is, but there is so much more here – at least to me.  I was a sinner who screwed up many times in my younger years. Including after I became a Christian, because of my lack of knowledge mostly.
[Matthew 14:28-31 NASB] 28 Peter said to Him, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." 29 And He said, "Come!" And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!" 31 Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt
Jesus first of all, gave Peter permission to do what Jesus was doing – shocking right!  No, the lesson here is that WE CAN DO WHAT JESUS DID.  And we're  suppose to walk in His ways, to continue His works on earth until His return for us.  Personally, I have not walked on water – yet!  But then, I’ve had no need to either.  My second point is that the first thing Jesus did was to save Peter, and probably placed him in the boat first to get Peter’s attention, so He could ask him “why did you doubt?”  Jesus didn’t scream, rant or rave at Peter, because Peter did walk on the water for a minute or two.  He knew Peter looked at the storm, rather than at Jesus, and that’s why He started to sink.
But always remember 1st, Jesus saved Peter, and then told him what he did wrong.  He does the same for us when we goof.
My 2nd verse is when Jesus asks His disciples “gee guys who do the people say that I am”? [I paraphrased that, could you tell?
[Matthew 16:13-18 NASB] 13Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" 14 And they said, "Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." 17 And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.
The part that gets me here is many take this wording “upon this rock [Peter?] I will build My church” was Jesus saying upon Peter, who’s name means rock?  Or did Jesus mean, the only way Peter could give the right answer was because Abba [Spiritually] gave Peter the answer.  Therefore, the answers from Abba or the Holy Spirit will give us the answers to what the Bible and Jesus say in the Word.  And upon our understanding the Church will be built?  I guess you already figured out it’s our understanding, not Peter, Jesus was talking about.  Jesus only told them not to reveal Him as the Christ [meaning Messiah] because until He died was buried and arose again – He wouldn’t fulfill His place as our Savior.
Do you realize; 7 times Jesus bled for you with a purpose?  On His head; the crown of thorns so we could have the mind of Christ.  His back, anyone who died on a tree/wood, was cursed, but with His blood covering the wood – Jesus broke the curse Eve and Adam created on all future children.  His 2-hands, so we no longer have to work for our salvation, it’s a free gift now.   And his 2-feet; like the hands, we can walk in and with Abba now, boldly into His Throne Room as the Word says.  When Jesus bled on the back, it was to remove any curses and this covered the past, their present and our future.
When you take communion, were told to “Keep Him in remembrance” don’t remember Jesus on the cross, but what He accomplished for ALL – if you chose and claim/receive it for yourself.

Blessings to all who read the blog and keep the Faith being AMAZED of how much more He has for you, as you seek new goals for 2018.  I promise you, there is so much more the Holy Spirit wants to reveal to you thru His Word.  I pray for ALL of you nightly.
Here’s a prophecy for 2018 that you may like – I do! It’s only 10 minutes enjoy and REJOICE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvmjGWWIMM8
