A Week To Think

Dear Brothers & Sisters in My Family,

     The coming Christmas, next Monday, is a time to think about how to get from where you are, to what you were made for and knowing what’s available to ALL of us.  If you’re following the world, you cannot be following Jesus because Jesus says bless those who curse you and the world just curses everyone. 
     Christmas is the time we celebrate the day our Salvation came alive, as when Moses became the deliverer for the Hebrews in Egypt, Christmas is the reason when Abba [God] provided one for us.  The day our blessing came into the world, to counter the evil corruption developed in the world.

     Through the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ [Messiah] we are able to BE FORGIVEN and FORGIVE our Brothers & Sisters.

     The main point I want to make here, is that Abba created the world and mankind.  If you doubt it, try and find any book written almost 6,000 years ago that gives us the history from start to finish, and is always up to date.  For myself, if Abba said it, I believe it and that settles it.  I may not always understand it – but when I need to, the Holy Spirit will explain it.  

     The New Year is coming a week later and it’s time to reflect on last year and review our lives; i.e., was it a good or bad year?  Were you more happy or sad?  Were you growing or stagnate?  Search your heart, these questions only you can answer.  If you were on the positive side of these questions, than more than likely you were walking in the Word. 
     If not, but you claim to be a Christian, is it possible you only talk to Abba with your “wants” refusing to do what He says you should do, then do it?

     Then it’s time to turn the tables on the twerp [satan] from controlling you and your nation.  How can we do that?  The twerp wants to divide [separate] you from Abba first, then from your family and friends.  This could be your answer: [1 John 1:6-7 NASB] 6 “If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”  Job is also a good example, the first thing the twerp did was kill his animals, so Job could not offer a sacrifice to please and honor Abba.

    A good example of what Abba wanted from man is the story of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 10:9 – 11:9.  In Genesis 10:9 it starts with everyone on earth speaking one language and by the end in 11:9, man separated because they spoke various languages, not understanding each other anymore.  Do you wonder why Abba gave these different languages?  Here’s why:  To Abba there is no difference - 

     [Genesis 11:5-8 NASB] 5 “The LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 The LORD said, "Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them. 7 "Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another's speech." 8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city.”  Do you see how powerful we can be in  unity with Abba?  Here’s why:  [Galatians 3:28 NASB] “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”  There truly is NO DIFFERENCE IN HEAVEN – WE’RE ALL THE SAME!

    You also see why the twerp wants us to divide ourselves from one another, because Abba said without one language they will not understand each other.  When Abba scattered them, they started different cultures, religions, words and races.  Yet, they were still Abba’s children, no matter where they lived on earth.  But because of differences, they no longer had anything in common like Abba.  Please keep in mind, Abba has no “grandchildren,” with each new generation He always referrers to them as His Creation/Children.  Each person on earth, with their names in the Book of Life IS YOUR BROTHER OR SISTER in the Body of Christ!

     Another BIG QUESTION in today’s time would be, do you LOVE or HATE others with different opinions because they don’t agree with you?  Do you dislike anyone who is not the same race as you, or speak a different language, etc?  These feelings are from dwelling on the differences. 
     People change when they come to Jesus, asking for forgiveness and asking Him into their hearts, because your past is gone and your future is all you go forward with, they like you, are cleansed by the Blood of Christ.  Here are some of the works you and I will be doing for Jesus, to continue His work on earth.  Jesus completed His, but we’re to finish - I also believe this is the GREATER WORKS Jesus spoke of that we're suppose to do now.

     [Ephesians 4:11-13 NASB] 11 “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints [You] for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith [one heart], and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.”  This is what you can start claiming for the coming New Year.  Lord, help me to walk and serve You as You created me to do.  I can emphatically state how much I enjoy working for Abba and Jesus with the Holy Spirit's guidance!

     Make your New Year Resolutions this year to be happy and share His desire for you with others.  Did you know, Jesus is praying for you, and you are so important - His BELOVED, He has every hair on your head counted!

     [3 John 1:2 NASB] “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”  Is your soul prospering?

     [Luke 12:6-7 NASB] 6 "Are not five sparrows sold for two cents? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 "Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.”  Don't you wish we lived today with their prices?

     This coming Sunday, I’d like to talk to you about what the twerp is trying to get away with and what Abba says to remember.  Hope you’ll join me then.
