Problem Spirits

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

     Our spirit is the area where perception, visions, dreams, discovery of God’s revelation and knowledge are attained.  The Spirit is the most profound part of our being.  It is the area where we can learn to discern God’s truth and the lies of the devil.

     So it’s very important 1) we know our Word [truth].  2) Listen to our conscious that’s been re-trained.  3) Take any thoughts captive, bind the enemies words that not of the Word and command them to leave and into the pit.

Romans 8:10 NKJ  (1)

“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):”

1 Corinthians 4:4 NASB (2)

“For I am conscious of nothing against myself, [in your own mind] yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.

2 Corinthians 10:5 NASB  (3)

“We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ”

     The Holy Spirit of God in our spirit will teach us wisdom, good sense, wise decision making and give us insight.  He will teach us knowledge, specific information, facts and data when it’s the truth, but IF it’s a problem spirit our conscience will tell us it’s wrong and not follow it, as Jesus new the Word was taken out of context and corrected satan with the truth.   And when the enemy new he couldn’t win against Jesus, he left!

Matthew 4:8-11 NASB

8  “Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory;

9  and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”

10  Then Jesus said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’”

11  Then the devil left Him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him.”

     The Bible mentions various different spirits, many are a hindrance to Christians battling with inner turmoil and brokenness.  Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal and help you understand if any ungodly spirit has a stronghold in your life.

1 John 4:1-4 NASB

1  “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2  By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;

3  and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.

4  You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”
