Matthew 16 - Jesus Talking Traditions and Commandments!

            Blessed ones, I just watch 2 videos on You Tube, that stirred my spirit so much, I have to share it with you NOW!  First, is a 16 minute video by Dutch Sheets, he known for teaching "Intercessory Prayers"  This video, he talks about a Prophecy from 3 weeks ago about America by, Lana Vawser.  Lana is a Prophetess from Australia.  For AMERICANS in 2019

            The second video, is 49 [min]:10 [seconds] by Lana Vawser herself and she tells us what the Lord told her for ALL Churches around the World.  Hope your spirit will be stirred up, as much as mine.  Both of these are a MUST WATCH - It's a NOW WORD!

            As usual, the Lessons in Matthew will always contain topics such as; Life, Healings, Miracles, Deliverance and more in each Chapter.  Today we'll learn; what His Word is telling us about the; Pharisees Testing Jesus, Peter's Confession of Christ and Jesus Foretells His Death and Discipleship Is Costly.

    So hang in there, - Abba [God], does not want His children to have lack of knowledge, thereby knowing the TRUTH, that will set His People [You] FREE!   That's why Jesus through the Word, tells us what His Father [Abba] is like, what Heaven is like and will be on earth E V E N T U A L-
L Y, so we can preach; live a Godly life and overcome the world [enemy].  The World, is twerp's [satan's] playground. But if you know your authority, he can't play with you.

1-28  Chapter 16

16:1-4    Pharisees Test Jesus:

à       [Matthew 16:1-4 NASB] 1 "The Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and testing Jesus, they asked Him to show them a sign from heaven. 2 But He replied to them, "When it is evening, you say, '[It will be] fair weather, for the sky is red.' 3 "And in the morning, '[There will be] a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.'  Hypocrites!  You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot [discern] the signs of the times? 4 "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and a sign will not be given it, except the sign of Jonah." And He left them and went away.

    Talking to any non-Christian or unbeliever, you will always be tested, doubted or possibly offend them.  Best thing to do is give them your testimony, because they can hardly test you or be offended, when you share such a great blessing from Abba.  Then as Jesus did, if there is no response, just walk away and bless them so the Holy Spirit can work on them.
    It's His job to convict the world of sin - not ours.  Someone else will be sent to minister the Word to them.

[Matthew 16:5-12 NASB] 5 "And the disciples came to the other side [of the sea,] but they had forgotten to bring [any] bread. 6 And Jesus said to them, "Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducee's." 7 They began to discuss [this] among themselves, saying, "[He said that] because we did not bring [any] bread." 8 But Jesus, aware of this, said, "You men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you have no bread? 9 "Do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets [full] you picked up? 10 "Or the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many large baskets [full] you picked up? 11 "How is it that you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducee's." 12 Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducee's."

    Leavened Bread wasn't the issue, but they forgot [as sometimes we do, what Jesus has done for us] Jesus' Manifestations, are what keep us grounded, that the Lord is still alive and kicking.  forget that, and you'll end up being tempted back into the world [evil].  Because Leaven spreads just like sin.
Leaven Bread means - metaphor. of inveterate mental and moral corruption, viewed in its tendency to infect others.

·       [Luke 13:19-21 NASB] 19 "It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and threw into his own garden; and it grew and became a tree, and THE BIRDS OF THE AIR NESTED IN ITS BRANCHES." 20 And again He said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? 21 "It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened."
    It's amazing to me, how Abba/Jesus tell us important things to watch for and how the bad stuff is, filled with contaminates until; you, your household, churches and world think it's normal!  I know, that the twerp [satan] has been doing this to the world [especially America and England], until the whole world believes it's OK because they do it.
    All of you need to listen, both to the world and your church - IF they're teaching according to His WORD - NO PROBLEM  IF it's the World, run from it - find a church or friends that believe in the WORD.  IF you don't know the truth, [or young in your understanding] how can people choose the TRUTH?

·       [Hosea 4:6 NASB] "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."

·       [Revelation 1:6 NKJV] "and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him [be] glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."

16:13-20    Peter's Confession of Christ:

à       [Matthew 16:13-17 NASB] 13 "Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" 14 And they said, "Some [say] John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets." 15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." 17 And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal [this] to you, but My Father who is in heaven."

·    [Luke 16:13-17 NASB] 13 "No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth." 14 Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things and were scoffing at Him. 15 And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God. 16 "The Law and the Prophets [were proclaimed] until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. 17 "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of a letter of the Law to fail."
     Listen, the only reason you need to seek more, is IF you need more for your bills [and even for that, Abba has a way for you to overcome, see Malachi 3:10 .] or IF that, will enable you to give more away to Church and others in need of help.  After all, you can't take it with you, Abba has streets of Gold - He doesn't need it - and your blessings come from your reward of helping others.
    Otherwise, as the Scripture tells us - you'll hate just having your needs met or wanting to help those less fortunate than you.  I've used these Scriptures many times before, so I won't copy them from the Word, IF you haven't seen them, read Malachi 3:8-10, 18.

·       [Revelation 21:21 NASB] "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass."
    Yes, Pearls bigger than you can imagine.  Yes, streets made of pure gold, in fact so pure they are transparent.  Your riches and house, Abba already has this and more ready for you.  But you only gain them by what and how you live on earth.  Not by what you had on earth.

·       [Matthew 6:19 NASB] "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal."  Also know that [Deuteronomy 28: 3-8]  TITHINGS -ARE A PROOF OF YOUR OBEDIENCE.

·       [Matthew 6:1-4 NASB] 1 "Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. 2 "So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 3 "But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you."I love, that on the tithe you get your 90% protected, so the twerp cannot steal it and He opens the windows of Heaven to you. 
    Then on OFFERINGS, you get a 30-60-100% return as to what and how you gave.  It sure beats the interest we get now!
    Do you wonder why Abba says; "do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing - so that your giving will be done in secret."?  As I was re-reading the Scripture, it struck me - IF your left or right hand does not know what you're doing, neither would the twerp, to steal it or talk you out of giving...

à       [Matthew 16:18-20 NASB] 18 "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. 19 "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." 20 Then He warned the disciples that they should tell no one that He was the Christ."
    Verse 18 really drive me nuts.  Why?  Because Jesus' words are taken out of context.  How?  Just before Jesus said in Verse 17 it says Peter would be Blessed.  Why?  Because Abba had revealed to him first that Jesus was the Christ [The Messiah], the Son of Abba.  Peter just received a Word of Knowledge, not the authority to run ANY CHURCH!
    That was and is Jesus Christ [Ephesians 2:20]. Scripture calls Jesus “that Rock” in [1 Corinthians 10:4]. It is upon this rock—Jesus Christ—that our faith stands, NOT IN A MAN! [Matthew 7:24-25].
    So these words do not refer to Peter as the rock, but the Holy Spirit, who is the rock and the way ALL Christians will receive the TRUTH by Abba's Holy Spirit.  And that is what Jesus meant when He says "I will build My church on this rock" .  The churches' foundation MUST BE HIS WORD!
    Why did Jesus warn His disciples not to say, that HE WAS CHRIST?  Because until Jesus died and was resurrected, - He hadn't finished what was necessary for Him to be our Savior.
    As far as receiving the KEYS of HEAVEN "Do you realize, you already have the AUTHORITY to use them?  IF you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior and are born again, you have the Holy Spirit, which is the POWER of God within you.

16:21-28  Jesus Foretells His Death:

à       [Matthew 16:21-23 NASB] 21 "From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be crucified, then be raised up on the third day. 22 Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "God forbid [it,] Lord! This shall never happen to You." 23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You [Peter are being used by satan] are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's."
    Do you see here, that Jesus is preparing His disciples for His end, just as Abba is preparing the Israelite's for Petra, with the flooding they had last month, accomplished that.  The cisterns [which are reservoirs] storing water for them, when in Revelation - they will need to go there until Jesus returns for them.  Now they are ALL filled and years ago, I was there in 2009, they planned to start rebuilding the city of Petra.  And regularly He's working on us, to get our pre-ordained purpose - completed.  I can't say this enough - TIME IS SHORT make your choice before you take your last breath, or Jesus comes for us in Rapture.
    When Peter spoke the devils words, Jesus rebuked him.  Just a few verses before Jesus Praised Peter for listening to the Spirit of Abba, telling him that Jesus was the Christ.  That wasn't double mindedness, but as Robert Morris says, Peter was on the wrong frequency. 
    Everything you think, is not necessarily from the Holy Spirit.  Here's a way to check... IF what you're being told, is in agreement with the Word - Go For It.  IF not, know that it's the enemy, trying to pull you away from Jesus - so bind him from your thoughts.

16:24-28  Discipleship Is Costly:

à       [Matthew 16:24-25 NASB] 24 "Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it."
    Jesus warned His disciples, that anyone following Jesus must deny themselves.  Take up their cross [not for death, but speak about Jesus and the Kingdom of God - and the future awaiting them in Heaven].  Otherwise, if you love your life in the world, you will miss your chance to go to Him.  You'll have a dark, hot, miserable place for eternity.  But know, it will be your choice.
    Yet anyone who's spirit/electricity has left their body, [I don't believe we die, we just become absent from the body as Paul told us...]

      ·       [2 Corinthians 5:8 NASB] "we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
    In other words, once we leave our body on earth, we go directly to Heaven and our eternal life with Jesus.  And oh boy, am I waiting for that day!
 

[Matthew 16:26-28 NASB] 26 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 "For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS. 28 "Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom."

    I don't think this can be any clearer than what this Scripture says.  Some will be raptured and some will not.  Again, I would warn you, you have one more chance afterward.
    Those who are not taken, - YOU MUST NOT TAKE THE MARK on your right hand or forehead!

·       [Revelation 13:16-17 NASB] 16 "And he [satan] causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and [he provides] that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, [either] the name of the beast or the number of his name."
    I think that's why the Word tells us "woe" to women who are pregnant or nursing a child.  Those children in their mothers womb, will not be taken, but there is an "age of accountability" for all children to be taken in rapture.
    If a child has not reach an age to make decision for Jesus, they go.  If they have reached that age, and HAVE NOT - They stay.
    The Torah [1st 5 Books of Jewish Bible] teaches the mitzvah celebrations for a Jewish boy is around the age of 13, after they have learned and can recite the commandments of God.  For a girl, it's age 12.  I do believe for the Church, it's not the age, but the acceptance they have in Jesus.  Of course all of our rewards come from the good we do here on earth.
    I know I loved Abba when I was 3.  Having polio - I couldn't go out to play, only watch the Catholic movies on TV and decided to work for Jesus as a nun.  I don't think that would have worked for me to well - ha-ha.  But now I serve Him in the world, through this blog; besides Church, Intercessory prayer warrior, and a helper to those I can help.  My name Sandra in Hebrew means "helper of mankind", even though I wasn't raised as a Christian, Abba had a plan for my life. - PTL!
      Glory has several possibilities, but for the Church I believe it's: splendor, brightness of the moon, sun, stars magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, grace and majesty. - ALL ROLLED INTO ONE!  What a sight that will be...JESUS come quickly - please.
    And finally, know that not every one will be leaving this earth to be carried away to Heaven.  But as I said above, you still have one more chance, before you take your last breath.  There are plenty of movies out their like "Left Behind 1-3" "Revelation" etc, most of which you can get online at www.youtube.com free of charge.  Start watching them if you're curious about what happens after the Christians leave earth.  Also, you can read Revelation starting with Chapter 4-22 - because Chapters 1-3 are about the 7 churches and their problems to work out, then the church is gone at the end of Chapter 3.

    My prayer 4 U:  Father, in Jesus' Name I'm asking You to reveal, to Your Children, how to think from Heaven's perspective, so they can release Heavenly solutions in their lives and help others.  Help them also NOT TO LEAD with their head, but with the heart of JESUS!  -  In Jesus' Name - AMEN! and AMEN!
