Our Main Helper & Teacher

SF, Stagecoach, NV
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
If your dependence on learning the Word does not include the Holy Spirit, I doubt you’ll get the context of any scripture correct.  After all, the Word tells us:

Isaiah 28:10 NASB
For He says,
Order on order, order on order,
Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there.”

So you see, the Lord says, that to be in order, you must search line upon line and there will be a little bit here and a little bit there to find.  Often I find a little bit in the Old Testament (OT) and at least 1-2 others in the New Testament (NT) that will coincide with each other, to ensure I have the right understanding of the scripture.  Especially when I ask the Holy Spirit to guide me - first.
Many Christians think it's not necessary to read the OT, because we, the “wild branch” (Romans 11:24) are grafted into the NT.  But IF God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow; then ALL His promises whether in the OT or NT still hold for us today.  Not to mention His personality, position on such things as; homosexuality, liars, thieves, you shall not imitate the detestable things of evil (Deuteronomy 18:9), you shall not eat flesh with its life [still alive] (Genesis 9:4), the scepter shall not depart from Judah (Genesis 49:10).  Some of His shall not(s) are for health reasons and others are for the future of Israel to know.
Your words are more powerful than you can imagine it's how we’re to live our lives until we join our Lord and Savior Jesus in the soon coming Rapture.  What’s coming out of your mouth?
 o     Fire & Brimstone?
o     The Love of God?
o     Cursing
o     Blessing
Matthew 4:4 NASB
But He answered and said,
“It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE
BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT
PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.'”

It use to be only the men cursed and then, only when the women were not around.  Today the world has gone down so low that the women curse worse than the men – OUCH!  Many of us hear a truck driver’s mouth spoken daily.  But if you ask the Holy Spirit to help you speak only what will edify the Lord – He will help you hear and speak what pleases Daddy (God).
Because of our culture today, every year when I go on vacation the Bible Study group and I must re-read “The Tongue – A Creative Force, by Charles Capps.  It reminds us that the Lord not only hears our thoughts, but our words.  The Holy Spirit once reminded me, that David’s worse curse was in the Bible I Samuel 17:6Then David spoke to the men who were standing by him, saying, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should taunt the armies of the living God?
We must not neglect God’s greatest gift, our anointing in the Holy Spirit.  If we neglect to nurture and protect this sacred relationship, the enemy will take advantage of us.  Instead of living in absolute freedom and abundance, we will end up living in defeat and constant lack.  The Holy Spirit is our Helper and our teacher, and there is nothing too difficult for Him, after all, He is the very essence of our Holy Father.

John 15:26-27 NASB
(26) “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,
(27and you will testify also, because you have been with Me from the beginning.”

It’s only thru the Holy Spirit we can understand Jesus, the Father and Heavenly ways.  It’s the way to have a relationship with them.  It is truly their desire for each of us.  To follow their ways not to be in a place of bondage or slavery, but to give you the keys to the kingdom of Heaven along with ALL the rewards they have stored up for each of us concerning our life on earth as well as when we get our eternal bodies.

Blessings to all of you -  let His Son shine on and through you!

Sandy F - The Lord's Servant
