Dear Brothers & Sisters,
1
Timothy 2:1-3 NKJ
(1) “Therefore I exhort first of all that
supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks be made for all men,
(2) for kings and all who are in authority,
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable
life [promise] in all godliness and reverence.
supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks be made for all men,
(2) for kings and all who are in authority,
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable
life [promise] in all godliness and reverence.
(3) For
this is good and
acceptable
in the sight of God our Savior,”
in the sight of God our Savior,”
We are in the latter
days, and WE ARE
the warriors of God. I personally believe that this year is very
important to pray and uplift our; nations, cities, churches, ministers, families,
and the local needs of our brothers and sisters, not to mention the unsaved of
the world.
One of the biggest ways
to help someone, is to pray for their needs.
If it’s not known to you, ask God to bless them in whatever their need
is or better yet pray in the Spirit for them.
Certain nations we are
asked [told] to pray for, like Israel :
Isaiah
57:18-19 NKJ
(18)
“I have seen his ways, and will
heal him;
I will also lead him,
And restore comforts to him
And to his mourners.”
I will also lead him,
And restore comforts to him
And to his mourners.”
(19)
“I create the fruit of
the lips:
[SPEAK] Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,”
Says the LORD,
“And I will heal him.”
[SPEAK] Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near,”
Says the LORD,
“And I will heal him.”
We are told by the Lord
to speak with the fruit of our lips,
that He created in us, Peace, Peace
[I speak Shalom, Shalom, no matter
how you say it; it’s a double blessing of peace for His chosen. There is no distance in the Spirit, which
allows us to pray for any nation or person who is close to us or far away.
Matthew
5:44
NKJ
““But
I say to you, love your enemies,
bless those who curse you,
do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
bless those who curse you,
do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
Matthew 19:26 NKJ
“But Jesus looked at them and said to them,
“But Jesus looked at them and said to them,
“With
men this is impossible,
but with God all things are possible.”
but with God all things are possible.”
That is not how the
world works, just our God. The Father
does not work through cursing your enemy, because as He said above you’ll only
change them by blessing them, doing good and loving them. Keep in mind, NOTHING is impossible with God.
John
17:20
NKJ
““I
do not pray for these alone,
but also for those who will
believe in Me through their word;”
but also for those who will
believe in Me through their word;”
Here we have Jesus
praying for you and the unsaved. I
believe Rapture is still waiting on the prodigals to come home. And for those who say they are Christians,
yet really have no relationship with Him.
I believe the quote is “You’ll know a Christian by their fruit.” (Luke 8:14) How’s your fruit? To develop it, you need to walk in Him, which
means you must be in His Word for others to see it.
Colossians
1:9 RSV
“And
so, from the day we heard of it,
we have not ceased to pray for you,
asking that you may be filled with
the knowledge of his will in
all spiritual wisdom and understanding,”
we have not ceased to pray for you,
asking that you may be filled with
the knowledge of his will in
all spiritual wisdom and understanding,”
Pray for those who need
more knowledge, spiritual wisdom and understanding in who’s they are, to
complete what God has called them to accomplish in this life. So they, like you, will hear “well done my good and faithful servant.” (Matthew
25:21, 23)
James
5:14
NASB
“Is
anyone among you sick?
Then he must call for the elders of the church
and they are to pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
Then he must call for the elders of the church
and they are to pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;
Praying for the sick
should be normal for us. It’s not for
you to heal them, but to ask God. We
should be in the habit so whenever anyone says they are sick; we ask to pray
for/with them immediately. If necessary,
take them to the elders of your church for anointing and prayers.
Pray for the unbelievers, and see a changed outcome. I received healing from 3rd
generation of allergies to yeast. I did
not have any bread for 19 years. We
would take waffles to Burger King you know, “Have it your way”. [Years ago, they did not put yeast in them.] Then my
54 year old unsaved mother was healed and asked Christ into her heart. The same went for my 72 year old unsaved
grandmother, with the same results. God
is good and your testimonies go a long way, when you share them, so others can
overcome the enemy too.
Bottom line, no one has to be saved to
receive from God - healing. John 4:48 clearly says; “So Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders,
you simply will
not believe.” The Father knows we’re strengthened when we see what He
will do, when the doctors could not.
There’s no doubt after you see the signs or wonders, that what was
impossible in the World, is not impossible for our Daddy in Heaven. They will believe and accept Jesus.
OK, I’ve only covered
some of the scriptures in the New Testament.
The first church did a lot of praying and Jesus gave many, the authority
in His Name to do the signs and wonders, that is available to us also. They’ll be astonished, and you will be too,
when you start praying and doing what we’re suppose to. Watch the outcome of blessing instead of
cursing, praying for someone’s need. See
the change in them and you, when the manifestation of your answered prayer is seen.
It’s not our job to
change someone, just turn them over to the Holy Spirit. Our job is to lead them to the water – It’s
up to them to drink or not. Who knows,
you may just have given them a seed – and someone else will water it for
growth. Still, God gets ALL the Glory – AMEN .
Blessings to all of you, His Holy Spirit IS OUR GUIDE!
