Think About It…

16-03-03 Sunday
SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

The Word tells us to overcome the twerp (satan) by YOUR Testimony and HIS Blood.

Rev 12:11-12 NKJ

11 "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.
12  Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe for the earth and for the sea: because the devil is gone down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time."

Notice how it takes 2, the LORD’s Sacrifice for us & YOU to speak how He did it?  Think about it; were you at the end of your rope?  Going thru a crisis or depression, because nothing is going right?  Then hear someone speak their testimony about being in the same situation?  So you thought you’d give anything a try at that point in your life, you had nothing to loose?  And surprise, surprise it worked, you got peace, things calmed down, finances improved, and all because your situation changed.  Of course you became happy again, because a light was turned on at the end of your tunnel?  Then the reality sets in – and you know it was the Lord, so you became hungry for a relationship with Him.
It was their Testimony that set you on the right path or gave you the light you needed to make better decisions.  So why not do the same for others?  You and I know the world is controlled by the enemy, for the only truth is the Word, so NO WORLDLY ADVICE can HELP.  Remember, JESUS came for (JES[T] US) and maybe a person the Lord put in your path that day.
We all seek help in our lives in some way.  We hear a testimony and think “IF they can overcome, so can I”!  When you give your testimony, you are literally opening the door to allow Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help that person.  For we also know, that the Holy Spirit is our guide, teacher to understand the Word and comforts us as we go thru our testing.
My Pastor, David, is truly a man after God’s own heart, like King David was.  He told a story I’ll never forget, imagine using a jump rope with only one handle on it that represented our life on earth, about the size of your palm.  He also used a long rope (about 25-30 feet) unsure of exact length, because he had it go around the pulpit to a room behind him, so we saw no end to it.  This rope represented eternity.  Our life here compares nothing to the time we’ll spend with Him!  In fact, when Jesus comes for us, we'll know that there will be just FAITH, HOPE & LOVE in Heaven, as far as emotions go and a just court/judge for ungodly actions!  All because our spirits WILL NOT DIE, BUT BE RESURRECTED.
Think about it…  No more; taxes, hate, unjust courts/judges, abortion unholy marriages, idols, all the things the twerp likes for us to do or worship, anything he can, to put space between you and the Lord.  NO, I believe most Christians are looking up knowing their redemption draws closer.

Luke 21:25-28 NKJ
25  "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
26  "men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.
27  "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28  "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."

So I exhort you to tell a friend or stranger you’re testimony at lease once a week (if not more!) do it, because the time is so short and it’s what the Lord wants YOU TO DO.  It does take 2; The Lord is always with you, so you only need to speak.

Matthew 10:7-8 NKJ

7  And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8  Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely ye received, freely give.”

Blessing, Sandy F

The Lord’s Servant  PS:  For casting out demons, read in previous years, “Binding the Enemy” in Ezra 7:10 section.
