The Enemies' Lies About Tithing

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

     I've just heard about some lies about tithing, and told many believe you don't need to tithe, because the Bible does not say to tithe.  THIS IS A LIE FROM HELL, to steal your blessings.  This will be in several parts to this series, because the Scriptures they used were so out of context, I had to like Jesus, when He was tempted by the devil, correct it with His Words.  When making sure our understanding is correct, we must follow Isaiah 28:10 "For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, there a little.  In other words, the Bible will always confirm itself so your understanding will be in more than one Scripture.
     Most of the confusion is from using "curses" Scriptures and Free Will Offerings.  Tithing should always be done gladly so don't stop if you're walking in the Lord, so you'll keep getting all the blessings He's promised!

Maliciah 3:5-12

1. Mal 3:5-7, are not part of the TITHE concerns.  It is judgment against

• Those not living a Godly life and
• Those who unjustly cheat the buyers with false weights, and/or charging more to workers, widows and orphans.  They are the ones to be cursed.  This portion has nothing to do with Tithing.
• It’s to convict the sinners so they will repent.

2. Mal 3:8-12 are the PRINCIPALS of Tithing and what happens when we do or do not tithe.  Yes, we are not to follow the Laws of Moses, for they are for the sinners.  BUT when it comes to what GOD BLESSES, He’s the same, yesterday, today and forever.  Just as we get blessed for helping the widows, orphans and various ministries – we will get a portion of their blessing too, come our judgment day. 

• NOTE:  Jesus said Romans 1:16  “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”  So He gave to man-kind what the Jews would not accept.  Forgiveness, Blessings, Abundance, keys to the kingdom, Wisdom, Power, Authority, inheritance and the Holy Spirit.

o      Vs 8  Are you willing to ROB GOD?  Not me.  10% protection fee is worth keeping the 90% safe.  Most of us pay more than that in insuring our homes, cars, life, etc.

o      Vs 9  The CURSE only comes in WHEN YOU DO NOT TITHE.  God gives us everything, what right do we have to not obey Him.

o      Vs 10 “Bring ALL the tithes into the storehouse…” this can be your church or wherever you are being fed. 

o      Vs 11 Our blessing is when He rebukes the devourer for us.

§        Romans 14:10  “But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.”  NOTE: We all will be accountable and ministers doubly so!

§       2 Corinthians 5:10  “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”

o      Vs 12  Our nation used to be blessed and called great.  The land can be your produce; wheat, barley whatever crop you grow, or it can be your family.

SO NO, Tithing is NOT a Curse.  It is a way to be prosperous on earth.
