Dear Brothers, Sisters, Prodigals and Unsaved,
Whatever category you are in above, YOU were still created by Abba [God]. You become empowered when you accept Jesus as your Lord.
If you’ve read much of the Old Testament [OT], then you’d know Israel didn’t choose Abba, He chose them. There we no checks and balances, for 400-450 years in Egypt [without Abba], until He took pity on them and sent them a Deliverer - Moses, to set them free.
The Churches' Deliverer is Jesus, sent by Abba to set us free from bondage; sickness and sin, because Jesus’ inheritance, is the Earth - and Abba never gives junk! There is so much sin going on in the world today, as it was in the days of Noah, the only way to give us free choice to accept Jesus. Abba, made a way for mankind - by offering His ONLY Begotten Son in the flesh - HIS BLOOD IS OUR SACRIFICE to cover ALL our sins, setting us FREE!
Jesus had to be born and raised like any human; living in a world of sin, then tempted as we are, ridiculed and mocked [Isaiah 53:1-7], as we are, for following the worldly ways. Then beaten, by the Religious [Israel's High Priest] and Non-Religious [ruler of Rome] for judgement to crucify Him since the religious leaders had no authority to crucify Jesus any other way. Plus it fulfilled another prophecy of Jesus’ death.
Why do you think Abba gave us the same authority, He gave Jesus? It was to learn and practice what Jesus did and as the Book of James says,
- [James 1:21-22 NASB] 21 “Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and [all] that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. 22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.” If you live in the “Show Me” State of Missouri, you’ll understand this probably better than others.
James was the half brother of Jesus. He warns us, IF we DO NOT put away all the wickedness and filthiness that has been ingrained in us from living in the world, we’ll be deluding ourselves and not have our name written in the Book of Life.
So tell me, “How’s Your On the Job Training Going? Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. In his book “The Book Of Mysteries” a book every Christian should read… Says on Page 118 and I quote from the sub-title of “The Cosmic Bridal Chamber: Notes, bolding, and underlining are from me [SF].
“It WAS EARLY evening. We were gazing down at the tent camp in which we had first seen the bride. We didn’t see her that night, nor did we expect to."
“I wondered what she’s thinking,” I said “And what she’s doing.”
“The bride?” Asked the teacher.
“Yes.”
“She’s preparing for the day of her wedding.”
“How exactly is she preparing?”
“She no longer focuses on her home as she once did..not on how comfortable it is or how uncomfortable.”
“Because she’s leaving.”
“Exactly. And the more she focuses on her present circumstances, on what she’ll be leaving, the less she’ll be able to focus on where she’s going. She knows that her time in her present home is now temporary and limited. It’s not for her to grow more attached to it, but less attached. It’s for her to tread lightly. It’s her time to let go, to begin to say good-bye. Everything she once knew as her home is no longer so. It’s now her bridal chamber. She must now use everything she has to prepare herself for the wedding and the life that lies ahead of her.”
“So she prepares herself by letting go,” I said, “by saying good-bye?”
“Yes, and by whatever she can do to ready herself for her future life…not by beautifying her tent, but by beautifying herself. She prepares herself.”
“But there’s a spiritual realm to all this…yes?”
“Yes. If you belong to God, you’re His bride. And the world is your tent, your present home. And as the bride, your focus can no longer be on this, nor on your circumstances, not on how comfortable or uncomfortable you are in this world. This is the place you’re leaving. And the more you focus on what you’re leaving, the less you’ll be able to focus on where you’re going. Your days in the world are temporary. You’re not in the world to grow more attached to it, but less attached. It’s time for letting go, of treading lightly, of saying good-bye to it, so use every part of this life to prepare yourself for the life yet to come. Use the time you have in this world to prepare yourself for the days of eternity. You’re here to become beautiful. And from now on when you look at this world, no longer see it as your home, but see it for what it has now become…your bridal chamber.”
“The Mission: Live today as one preparing for the wedding. Use every moment as a chance to become more beautiful and heavenly.”
Recommended Reading: Consider Zion as referring to the Church today.
- [Isaiah 52:1-2 NASB] 1 “Awake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; For the uncircumcised and the unclean Will no longer come into you. 2 Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; Loose yourself from the chains [the world] around your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.”
NOTE: “Awake” in Strong’s Credence means; opening of your eyes, lift yourself up, stir up yourself. “Garments” means, clothing; also treachery or pillage.
Aben Ezra says, all interpreters agree that this prophecy is yet to be fulfilled, and so it is: by Zion is meant the church in Gospel times, in the latter day glory, which is called upon to awake out of sleep; and this repeated to show what a deep sleep had fallen on her [the church], the danger she was in through it, or the great concern the Lord had for her; and this is the very state and case of the church of Christ now, and the prophecy respects our times, and what follows. There is a general carnal security, and spiritual drowsiness, which has seized the people of God; a non-exercise of grace among them, at least it is not a lively one; a sluggishness to and in duty; a contentment in the external performance of it; an indifference about the cause of Christ, and power of religion; and an unconcernedness about the truths and ordinances of the Gospel, the discipline of Christ's house, and the honour of it; which the enemy takes the advantage of, and sows his tares of false doctrine and worship; wherefore it is high time to "awake" out of sleep, and to "put on strength", OR "clothe" with it, and do the Lord's will, and work and oppose the enemy. Saints are weak in themselves, but they have strength in Christ, and on him should they wait, to him should they look, and on him should they exercise faith for it; they should put on the whole armour of God, clothe themselves with it, resume courage, pluck up a good heart and spirit, and not fear any difficulties, dangers, and enemies. Put on thy beautiful garments.
So our Garments should be made of the Armour of God, state the case of Christ to others, FEAR NOT what the enemy may/may-not do - greater is He within you, then he that’s in the world. Let your heart and spirit, overflow with the LOVE of Christ in you, for others.
In our Bible Study, one of the gals, "Lilia" from Columbia says "It's not on my shoulders [problems], but on the Lords - and she leaves it with Him - and so far, He's handle them all. - All of us have started doing the same! Don't focus on what you hear or see, it's not our problem, but HIS.
- [Ephesians 5:26-27 NASB] 26 “so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.”
NOTE: JESUS shed his blood that He could cleanse us with it; and He completed a righteousness in us, so that He could justify us from ALL OUR iniquities; and which being removed from us, makes us pure and spotless in the sight of Divine justice; for this sanctifying and cleansing does not so much refer to the inward work of sanctification of the Spirit, though that is a fruit and effect of the death of Christ, and is brought about by the following means, as to the justification of them by the blood and righteousness of Christ: which is said to be, by the word; not in the form of words in baptism; but either the Gospel, which brings the good news and glad tidings of peace, pardon, atonement, and justification by Christ; or the sentence of justification pronounced upon the conscience by Him; see [John 15:2].
- [Revelation 21:2 NASB] “And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.”
NOTE: When the Lord came into the world and planted the kingdom of God within men, as He said [Luke 17:20-21], it is foretold by the prophet in similar terms to those used by John, “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth,” etc. [Isaiah 65:17-18]. To alter the state of society altogether, both as to its principles and practices, is to change heaven and earth. “If any man be in Christ,” said Paul, “he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new” [2 Corinthians 5:17]. And, indeed, his view of the Lord is altogether bright and new, where it had before been dark and threatening. His thoughts, his hopes, his prospects, are altogether confident and cheerful, and his outward life is new and virtuous.
There is no one who could doubt the time is VERY NEAR. Keep looking UP for Jesus and let your heart not be troubled. The more we follow Christ, the closer we become to being in a fellowship, unbeknown to the world. For they neither see, nor hear what the Lord is saying to them.
My prayer 4U is that you’ll PRAY FOR THEM, let the LOVE for CHRIST in you, SHINE OVER THEM. As you release whatever in the world might be holding you back from finishing you race - getting ready for His coming 4 the CHURCH.
Blessings to you and your family,
Your Sister in Christ,
Sandy F. - The Lord’s Servant
