I Come

KS, Carson City, NV

My Precious Ones,

I come to call you home.  I will receive you to be with ME eternally.
There are evil ones who work with the devil, setting up their plans for the immediate future.
Deep secrets are being kept from you all.  No one can hide their thoughts or plans from ME, for I created them.
I will not allow MY Own to remain through the tribulation, which is on your very doorsteps.  It is the time of MY Judgments on evil!  Those of you who are Mine; are Mine because you know I died for your sins on the cross.  You cannot receive MY Judgments because your sins have been cleansed in MY Blood.
You also cannot remain because you would stand against the enemy's plans.  I would have to answer your prayers because I promised you I would.  I AM Faithful!
The events that must be are prophesied in MY Word.  MY Word is truth and stands.  It cannot return to ME VOID!
Know that all things are on MY Schedule, and they are set in place.
Peace be still and know that I AM GOD.
I cherish MY Bride, and I will call you home very quickly.  Things are ready to begin for the final things of these last days!

Ephesians 5:11-16 NKJ
11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,
but rather expose them.
12  For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done
by them in secret.
13  But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light,
for whatever makes manifest is light.
14  Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light."
15  See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16  redeeming the time, because the days are evil"

#7 Dealing With Emotions – Criticism & Gossip In A Godly Way.

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Topic #7 Criticism & Gossip:
Criticism is like a cancer spreading and infecting all parts of the body of Christ.  As children of God, many times we find ourselves trapped in a habit of criticizing others, or even gossiping about our friends to others.  How can we overcome it?

First, think of the person you criticized most recently.  Was the criticism totally valid?  What purpose did it serve?  Who was edified?

Your Tongue:
Romans 2:1 says we should not judge or condemn another.  In Romans 14:10 what explanation is given as to why we shouldn’t be critical of others?

In Romans 1:29-30, the unrighteous are described as indulging in gossip and slander.  What will be the end result? (Romans 1:32)

What is the source of evil words in Matthew 12:13-37?

What warning is given in verses 36 and 37?

Describe the power and effect of the tongue from these verses:
Psalm 64:3

Proverbs 12:18

Proverbs 13:3

Read James 3:2-12.  Describe the effect of the tongue?

Can man control his tongue?

Which verse convicts you the most?

Read James 3:13-18.  What are some results of the world’s wisdom?

What do you see as some root causes of criticism and gossip in these versus?

What are results of being controlled by God’s wisdom?

Are You In Control?

How do these verses tell us to control our tongues?
Psalm 34:13

Psalm 141:3

Proverbs 10:14, 19

Proverbs 13:3

What are some results of controlling our tongues?
Proverbs 15:4, 7

Proverbs 12:18-19

A critical spirit is often caused by jealousy, envy, pride or bitterness.  Gossip and slander usually begin with a spirit of criticism and judging.
If God has convicted you of a spirit of criticism, gossip or other sins mentioned, confess them as sin.  Ask for protection of your mind from the twerp’s temptations in this area.  If you have slandered anyone, go and ask that person’s forgiveness and repair any damage done to their character.  Remember, destroying a person’s reputation and character can be worse than physical harm.

Application:
Ask God to help you accept and love others as they are.
Pray Psalm 141:3 or Psalm 34:10 each morning this coming week.
Thank Jesus that he wants to set you free from the sins of gossip and criticism, He can give you power over your tongue.

Prayer:
Father, help me to speak the truth in love this week.  Forgive my sins of gossip and criticism and renew me by your power.  Holy Spirit, remind me of Philippians 4:8 and speak only words pleasing to You.  “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” AMEN.

#6 Dealing With Emotions - Guilt In A Godly Way.

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Topic #6 Guilt: Is it for Real?

Why is mankind plagued with feelings of – GUILT of rejecting God’s work of grace in their lives?  But many Christians also experience a false type of guilt as a kind of self-hate and self-punishment.

Share some things over which you have experienced guilt.

Guilt yet Forgiven

In Anger, do you act or react, we saw Adam and Eve experienced guilt as a result of sin.  What was the result of their guilt (Genesis 3:6-10)?

What does Romans 2:14-15 say about man’s conscience?

Romans 3:23 says “_____ have sinned.”  Therefore, _____ are guilty in God’s sight.  Our very nature demands that we be forgiven or punished.

Read 2 Samuel 11.  Name several great sins which David knowingly committed.

What were the consequences he later suffered as a result?

From Psalms 51:2-5, 10-12, 32:2-4 describe the effects of sin and guilt on David.
Physically?

Mentally?

Spiritually?

Emotionally?

What is God’s answer to guilt?
Psalm 51:2-3, 7, 10

Pslm 32:1, 5

1 John 1:9

1 John 2:2

Romans 5:8-10

We have seen that even though God forgives us, we often must suffer the consequences of our sin.  However, even these experiences can help us mature spiritually and experience God’s grace.
David greatly sinned and displeased God, but he later was called “a man after God’s on heart.”  This truly shows the depths of God’s mercy and forgiveness.  How is David used as an example in Isaiah 55:3 and Acts 13:14?

Pick out one of the following verses on God’s forgiveness and memorize it.  Psalm 103:12; Isaiah 44:22; Hebrews 9:22; Micah 7:19; Jeremiah 31:34; 1 John 1:9.

The Guilt Trap:
Many Christians continue to experience guilt after coming to Christ for forgiveness.  If the Holy Spirit convicts you of a sin (John 16:8, 13; 14:26) confess it and ask forgiveness.  Make restitution if necessary.  Claim victory from condemnation (Romans 8:1-2).
Who brings feelings of guilt and condemnation to the Christian?  (See Revelation 12:10; Job 1:9-11)

Application:
God has already forgiven you your sins.  Have you forgiven yourself?
Is your pride keeping you from experiencing deliverance from guilt?

Prayer:
Lord, I thank you that there is NO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.  I claim freedom from guilt and sin bought by Your blood.  Help me to live in freedom.  AMEN.

#5 Dealing With Emotions - Depression In A Godly Way

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Topic #5 The Horrible Pit.

Everyone experiences highs and lows.  But many people remain in a depressed state for long periods of time, such as; men returning from service and women after having babies.  A depressed person usually has a low self-image and makes life miserable for those around them.

What have been some causes of depression in your life?

Share with others what has helped you in overcoming times of depression.

Are you learning to accept and like yourself (redo lesson #3 if necessary)?

Out of a Horrible Pit:

Let’s look at several Bible characters who experienced times of depression. List the person, cause of depression and their result below.

                                      Person        Cause of Depression:     Result:

Numbers 11:10-18:

1 Kings 19:1-8:

Jonah 4:1-11:

(Circle the one you identify with the most above.)

What was God’s solution for each man above?
Numbers 11:

1 Kings 19:

Jonah 4:

Summarize how these men handled their feelings of despair and discouragement.

Job; Job 13:15

David; Psalm 40:1-4, 42:1-6,8

Paul; Philippians 4:4-8, 13

Hope For The Depressed

In lesson 2 on worry, we discussed the importance of controlling our minds and thoughts (Philippians 4:8).  This is especially necessary for a depressive person.  Our habits and mental reactions can become deeply ingrained, but Jesus can help reprogram our thoughts and minds.  Review if necessary.
Realize you are in a spiritual battle and need protection from the twerps attacks.  Mediate on Christ and claim the power of His victory over death.  (See Revelation 12:11, Hebrews 2:14, Claim 1 John 4:4).
Selfishness is a prime characteristic of a depressive person.  Thinking too much about yourself and your own problems (or for being too introspective) can feed your depression.
Romans 12:3-8 encourages us to use our spiritual gifts for the Lord.  In versus 9-12, list other areas of service for the Christian:

Practical Steps To Help Experience Deliverance From Depression Include:

Look for a possible physical cause such as; exhaustion or ill health first.  Confess all know sin, especially; self-pity and anger. Then ask to receive cleansing from God (1 John 1:9; Psalm 51:10).
After confessing your sin, praise God for His victory (1 Thessalonians 5:18 and 1 John 5:14-15).
Ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit and controlled by Him (Ephesians 5:18).  Saturate your mind daily with the Scripture and spend time praising God in order to prevent depression.

Application:
How to Win over Depression, by Tim LaHaye, has an excellent chapter on helping your children avoid depression.  If you are a parent, be aware of positive ways to help your children.
Ask the Lord for emotional healing if the cause of your depression is a result of suppressed anger or self-pity dating back to your childhood.

Prayer:
Father, lift us from the depths of depression, as You have promised to do when we turn to You.  Help us not to fall into self-pity, but rather to be positive channels for your power. – In Jesus Name AMEN.

#4 Dealing With Emotions - Anger In A Godly Way

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Topic #4 Do You Act or React?

People react differently when angry.  One person is transformed into a screaming, yelling tyrant, while another holds their anger within like a smoldering volcano and retreats behind a cold wall of silence.  Some hold grudges and develop deep feelings of bitterness and resentment.

Blowing Up:

Describe how you feel when you are angry.  How do you react?

List some causes of anger in your life?

What do you think is the relationship between self-centerness (or "demanding your own rights”) and anger?

Sometimes you may have every right to be angry when someone has done something to hurt you or a loved one.  Look at some of the results of anger as experienced by this Bible characters.  Fill in the  Person, Cause of Anger & Result of Anger for each of them.

Person,            Cause of Anger              Result of Anger
Genesis 4:5-8

Exodus 32:19-22

1 Samuel 25:26-27

Luke 10: 38-42

What results can occur from anger (physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally)?  Share your results of anger you have experienced.  Proverbs 10:12, 29:22, Matthew 5:22, Ephesians 4:26-27.

In Proverbs 18:6-7, an angry person is called a fool.  Read Proverbs 14:1-2 what does an angry person do to their home?

Handling Anger:

Depending on temperament, childhood experiences, models and habits established, people generally cope with their anger by repressing, suppressing or expressing it, then exploding.

What advice is given in these Scriptures?  Then share with others how you have handled anger in your own life.

Proverbs 15:18:

Proverbs 22:24-24:

James 1:19-20:

Forgive and Forget:

What are the results of an unforgiving spirit in:
Marriage?

Parent/child relations?

Friends?

Relationships to God?

List the principals involved in forgiveness.
Matthew 18:21-22?

Mark 11:25-26?

Ephesians 4:26-27, 30-32

How to deal with anger and an unforgiving spirit:

Honestly confess your anger as sin to God.  Ask Him to cleanse and deliver you from anger (1 John 1:9).  Remember, anger grieves the Holy Spirit.
Forgive the other person (through God’s grace and forgiveness).  If need be, ask the person to forgive you directly (James 5:16).  Then you can ask to be filled with love for him/her then actively show your love to that person.

Application:
Begin to communicate and express verbally your feelings of anger with your spouse or friend.  Discuss causes of your anger.
Pray for each other when you need help in controlling your anger.  Ask God to flood you with His love (Roman 5:5).
Discuss how you can help members of your family or friends deal with their anger.  Pray for them.

Prayer:

Lord, work in all our relationships to help us first to communicate and then to control our anger.  We know we must forgive others before asking for your forgiveness, and we do this now.  Deliver us from the temptation of anger and fill us with your love.  In Jesus Name AMEN.

My Sol-Safe & Sound

JAL, Silver Springs, NV

My Brothers & Sisters,

Here's a poem the Holy Spirit gave me to share, at this time, with you.

My soul was once like the sands of time.
Slowly shifting and drifting away.
Until it came to a solid rock,
Where it fell and rested one day.
The sun shinning down so warmed my soul,
It said, "Ah at last I have peace.
And if I remain on the Solid Rock
My drifting will evermore cease."

Then along came the rain, and a strong wind blew,
And my soul cried out "Now what do I do?
For the wind will lift me from where I stay-
Or the rain will pool and wash me away."

But my soul soon found it had nothing to dread
But a reason to shout and rejoice instead.
For a Dove, on this Rock had made a nest
And it spread it's wings o'er the place my soul rest.
So the strong wind blew, and the rain came down
But my soul remained on the Rock safe and sound.

Now I know when these sands of time be no more
I will have reached another shore,
Resting safe upon the Rock
Where neither rain nor wind will walk.
Nestled beneath the Saving wings
Where my soul will eternally, God's praises sing.

Be Looking For ONLY ME!

KS, Carson City, NV

My Beloved,

You know the signs of the times.  You know in your spirits that I AM at the very door, awaiting My Father's command to call MY Own home.  You do not know the time, but you know it is close.
Many, many are running to a deceiver.  I warned MY Disciples, when they asked what the signs of the end would be, that you are to take heed that no one deceives you.  It was MY first warning.
Do you think that you will automatically know deceivers because they look like deceivers?  Did I not tell you that satan can be transformed into an angel of light and that his ministers can be transformed into ministers of righteousness?  You need to know ME and MY Word to discern these things.
Now is not the time to be running after things and away from ME.  I come quickly.  Be looking or ME!

Revelation 22:20-21 KJV
20  "He who testifieth these things saith, Yea: I come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.
21  The grace of the Lord Jesus be with the saints. Amen."

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10  nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
11  Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

#3 Dealing With Emotions - Fear In A Godly Way.

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Throughout this series, I will not use “satan” (except if  it's in a scripture), I will call him the twerp.  For to me, he’s a rat looking for a place to steal, kill or destroy our relationship with our Lord Jesus, yet the Lord’s will is “3 John 1:2  “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul emotions/will/mind) prospers.”

In first 2 studies, I drew lines for you to write your answers in, but I spent much time in aligning them in this layout, to be the same.  So in future, I’ll just leave a space for you to answer. – Blessings

Topic #3: Dealing With Fear:

Fear is a very real emotion in our daily lives.  Fear of others can keep you from attending social functions or teaching Sunday school.  Fear of the unknown can prevent you taking a trip; by car, boat, aircraft, etc or just anywhere a lot of unknown people are, or an undiagnosed disease can totally immobilize you.  Fear of what might happen tomorrow can easily ruin today.

What are some fears you experienced as a child?

List some fears you’ve experience today in these areas:?
     Physically:

     Financially:

     For your Spouse:

     For your Children:

     For your Future:

     With other Relationships:

2 Timothy 1:7 states that, “For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline.”

When and how did fear enter the world?  Read Genesis 3:1-13.
Who is the agent who caused fear (v 1)?
Who is the origin of fear (v 6,7)
Who reaction did fear bring (v 8-13)
Adam & Eve’s basic cause of fear has been passed down to all mankind, through the fallen human nature.  Plus the "twerp" is still trying today to block our peace from our Lord Jesus.

List Who was involved and Why?
     1 Samuel 17:1-11?

     2 Chronicles 20:1-7?

     Matthew 14:22-33?

Conquering Our Fears
Read Nehemiah 4:14b  Nehemiah and his people faced active opposition and had a valid reason to be afraid.  They worked daily to rebuild the wall and nightly, to guard it from the enemy.  What is the reminder given to us in Nehemiah 4:14b?

Remember, God is big enough for any problem or fear that you face and fear is the opposite of Faith (believing).

List several situations in the past where God has delivered you from your problems?:

Thank Him right now for His faithfulness in the past.
Read the following promises of God regarding fear.  Memorize your favorite and share them with others.  Joshua 1:9, Psalm 16:8, 23:4, 27:1, 46:1-2, 56:3, Isaiah 41:10, 2 Timothy 1:7.

Application:
Acknowledge your fears to God.   Ask Him to cleanse your mind and deliver you from these fears.
Ask Jesus to bring healing to those memories which caused your fear.
Learn to depend on God.  As we acknowledge God’s power and our inadequacy to handle a problem, fear will flee.
Is a loved one experiencing fear?  Ask God to permeate this person’s being with His lasting peace.

Prayer:
Lord you have the power to deliver me from my fears.  Help me to depend on You and to find peace, through Jesus Christ my Savior. In Jesus Name AMEN.

I’ll continue Sunday 10/16/15  with “Topic #4 -Dealing With Anger In A Godly Way”.

#2 Dealing With Emotions - Worry & Anxiety In A Godly Way.

SF, Stagecoach, NV

 Dear Brothers & Sisters

Throughout this series, I will not use "satan" (except if  it's in a scripture), I will call him the twerp.  For to me, he’s a rat looking for a place to steal, kill or destroy our relationship with our Lord Jesus, yet the Lord’s will is “3 John 1:2  “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul (emotions/will/mind) prospers.” Who would you prefer to follow, life (Lord’s Word) or death (the twerp’s worldly way to separate you from Lord)?

Topic #2: Dealing With Worry and Anxiety:

All of us have been either watching the news, or listening to others talk about what’s going on around the world.  ISIS, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, America, Greece and more.  Plus water & food shortages, world economies crashing, hurricanes, earthquakes, Tsunamis from one extreme to another around the world.
The days we’re living in, are not easy nor will they be easier for non-Christians.  Christians & Messianic Jews have the Word to overcome the twerp, Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.”  Why?  Because greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.  So we should be praising God for ALL things (1 John 45:4)
Remember, Jesus said “John 18:9  “to fulfill the word which He spoke, "Of those whom You have given Me I lost not one."

#1 Dealing With Emotions - Inferiorities In A Godly Way

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Learn how to deal with your emotions the right way.  The Word says Matthew 4:4  “But He (Jesus)answered and said, "It is written: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.’"
Many of God’s Children have a tendency to speak when they’re angry, or gossip and usually speak against what they’ve been praying for – which we know, cancels our prayers.
Last Week, the Lord told me to do a series on How To Control Your Emotions, which is our soul; which includes our mind, will and emotions, so His people would stop cursing Him, and others, canceling their petitions to Him or simply loosing God’s blessings in your life by your lack of knowledge.
Throughout this series, I will not use (except if in scripture “satan”), I will call him the twerp.  For to me, he’s a rat looking for a place to steal, kill or destroy our relationship with our Lord Jesus, yet the Lord’s will is “3 John 1:2  “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul (mind, will & emotions) prospers.” Who would you prefer to follow, life (Lord’s Word) or death the twerp’s way to separate you from Lord?

Topic #1: Inferiorities:

All of us have an identity struggle and/or a problem with low self-image/esteem, in fact, a low self-image is the major twerp’s cause of depression, causing man/woman to feel unworthy, unloved, unwanted by others.  So what do many do?  They seek alcohol, drugs, any stimulant to make them feel better about themselves, until it becomes a habit that keeps you away from God.
The days we’re living in, are not easy, nor will they be easier for non-Christians.  Christians & Messianic Jews have God’s favor to overcome the twerp, Revelation 12:11  “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.”  Why?  Because greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world(1 John 4:4-5). So we should be praising God for ALL things

     What Causes Inferiority?
Your culture on physical beauty or intelligence being overemphasized?
     Being overshadowed by capable others?
Memories of your childhood, being compared less than other family members?
Feelings of not being important or needed?
Recall an experience in your childhood that made you feel inadequate, afraid or inferior.  Ask Jesus for healing of these memories and hurts.  Give your past to God.

Do you have Inferiorities or did you just accept them?  What was Moses’ attitude toward himself?
     Exodus 4:1 10-17 ___________________________________

Was he justified in feeling that way?________________________

What was Paul’s attitude toward himself?  Summarize them on these scriptures.

What God Thinks Of You:
How does God look at you?  How much do you mean to God in these versus?

     Ephesians 2:10_____________________________________
     1 Peter 2:5, 9-11____________________________________
     Romans 8:16-17____________________________________
     John 3:16-17_______________________________________
You are valuable to God and He delights in you.

Our relationship with God and his continual gift of righteousness, grace and mercy provides for our deepest need for our self-worth and self-acceptance.  Not to mention a lasting sense of worth, which we cannot receive from any human being.  This is available from each day from God.
In 1 Peter 3:4, we find that the inner spirit is more important to God than our physical beauty.  Compare Proverbs 31:30 (for women) and 1 Samuel 16:7 (for men).

Saturate yourself with God’s love.  Read Jeremiah 31:3 and Psalm18:19
Totally accept God’s forgiveness Read Psalm 4:1 and Romans 5:1, 8:1.  Then confess all past sin.
