STORM CLOUDS
When the storm clouds gather,
And the rivers flood below.
When your world is greatly shaken,
And strong evil winds blow.
Where do you run for shelter?
Who can calm your fears?
There is only one place of refuge,
And He is always near.
He is closer than a brother.
Nearer than a friend.
More loving than a mother,
On Him you can depend.
A great and faithful Father,
If you will listen and obey.
Trust Him, He will take you,
Through the troubles of the day.
Yes, Jesus is the answer
For every stormy trial.
He can turn the deepest frown,
into a joyous smile.
He can calm the wind and waters,
Chase the clouds from skies of blue.
But you must trust and obey Him,
This is all He asks of you.
