This is a 4 part study, to reveal through the Word (NASB), that the Lord has given you the authority to overcome every situation. In Part 2, you’ll learn the overcoming power and authority you have over the demonic world – in Christ.
Please read the Scriptures, confirm what the Word says. It’s mandatory we have the knowledge to overcome our enemy; the Word is your weapon!

Romans 12:21
“Do not be overcome by evil,
but overcome evil with good.”
1 John 5:4
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world;
and this is the victory that has overcome the world
—our faith.”
What many Christians do not realize, is that WE HAVE been given the authority to overcome evil with good. It’s by faith in Jesus and His Word WE WILL overcome every situation that comes against us.
Jesus not only overcame our enemy, but He set us free IF we choose to be free (John ), which has always been a choice, each born-again Christian must make.
For any human who has not made the choice of where you’ll spend eternity, you should know 3 things:
1. Only Jesus fulfilled every prophecy about the coming Savior in the Bible (Isaiah 53:1-12).
2. It doesn’t matter how many translations there are, because when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior – you receive the Holy Spirit, who teaches you. He gives you the knowledge, understanding and wisdom you need to apply the Bible principals for any circumstance in your life (1 John -29).
3. God searches the heart of man (Jeremiah ). Just saying a few words won’t cut it. Only those who abide in Him and bear fruit (John 15:1-8), will have the assurance of being “caught up” or raptured (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), instead of going through the wrath of God on earth (Romans 5:9 & Revelation 6:12-17, 12:12, 14:10, 19, 15:1, 7, 16:1, 19, 19:15).
I say that, so those who don’t “abide”, which means to live with or follow, won’t be surprised when they’re left behind. Going to church on Sunday, but living in the world Monday – Saturday, is NOT abiding in Him. Only you can decide where your heart is (Matthew 3:7-10). I judge no one, but warn that this is one of the tricks the enemy uses, so you “think” you’re saved. The Word says you’ll know a Christian by their fruit (Matthew 7:15-20, Mark 4:10-20 & John 8:31-32). The fruit is not your good deeds in the natural, but the character of God developed within you (Galations -25).
For those that love the Lord, you must learn (John 14:26), practice (1 Timothy 4:7-11) and share ALL that Jesus has done for you (2 Timothy 2:24-26 & James 1:22-24). After all, a fruit tree does not eat its own fruit. It’s for others to enjoy.
So Let’s Start… Jesus Did, So We Could:
1. As the Son of God, He came to earth. His DNA was that of God and human (Luke -35).
Note: Jesus represented the Father to us, as we’re to represent Jesus to others (John -17). It’s His DNA we receive when we’re born again.

2. He was without sin, so satan had no hold on Him (Hebrews 2:18).
Note: Keep that in mind when you’re attacked – sin opens the door. You’re not expected to be perfect, but what you know is wrong, try and change (repent) if you know it to be unpleasing to the Lord (Matthew ).

3. He was tempted, but spoke the Word and promises of the Father, so there was nothing satan could offer to entice Him (Matthew 4:1-11).
Note: The only way we can resist the devil so he will flee is to stay close to the Word (James 4:6-8) and know we have a better reward in heaven - for eternity.

4. He Loved ALL humans, before any ever accepted Him (John ).
Note: Can we do any less for our enemies (Luke )?

5. He spoke in parables, so man could understand. Much like we teach our children (Matthew -13).
Note: As we share our testimonies, of what the Lord has done, make it an option for them to try, because it worked for you (Revelation ), but it must be their choice. We are to lead people to the Living Waters, not force them to drink.

6. He revealed the Father’s Will in Heaven, to all mankind (John ).
Note: After 400-450 years inEgypt (sin) the Israelites forgot God and His love for them. Same could be said for us today. While we walked in sin, we thought a good deed now and then made us a good person. But as we’ve all learned, the Father has so much more for us. His Salvation, fruits, gifts, promises of meeting every need we have – and so much more. Our Father wants it on earth AS it is in Heaven and it’s UP TO US to bring it down to earth (Colossians 3:13-23).
Note: After 400-450 years in
7. He had 70 men, practice the authority He’d given them, by casting out demons and healing the sick (Luke 10:1, 17-24).
Note: As God relinquished the authority to Adam, so Jesus has relinquished it to us. It’s up to us to use it – He will only back us up, in His power to make sure it’s done. BUT WE must use the authority given to us – In Jesus’ Name!

8. Jesus gave His blood in 7 different ways to cover our sins; of the past, present and future.
Note: Before The Cross He Bled…
1) When He was beaten by the Pharisees and Romans taking on the punishment of both, the believer and non-believer alike - for our sins (Mark 14:65 & John 19:3).
2) When the crown of thorns was placed on His head - for the renewing of our minds (John 19:2).
3) When He was whipped - for our healing (Matthew 27:26).
On The Cross He Bled…
4) When His left hand was nailed to the cross – to snare the wicked (Psalm ), also left and right hand refer to the north and south, meaning the whole world.
5) When His right hand was nailed, it symbolized; power, strength, honor and deliverance (Psalms 60:5).
6) When His feet were nailed to the cross, it covered our old path and the new one available to us (Proverbs 3:6, Hebrews 12:12-13).
After His Death He Bled…
7) When they pierced Him under the rib (John ) – it was for future generations, for it’s the area of a womb. There is more detail to this, in Chapter 11 of God’s Power Available To Us.

9. He gave the final sacrifice with his life, that we might live (1 Timothy ).
Note: Through His death, he rendered satan powerless (Hebrews 2:14). Just goes to show you, although the twerp knows the Word – he doesn’t always understand it - until we speak it!

10. He restored everything satan stole from Adam & Eve (Genesis 1:26).
Note: Now, by faith, in His name, we have the same authority (1 John 5:4). But please be careful here, we have authority over our circumstances, but only Jesus has authority over man. We'll discuss this more in Part 3 - Our Weapons.

11. Jesus restored us to God. Salvation gives us; grace which is underserved favor, and mercy which is underserved forgiveness, but we also receive unconditional love, with an open door to eternal life with Christ (Ephesians 3:1-12).
Note: The blessings are the abundant life (John ) and those come as we “abide” in Him. For every promise in the OT and NT has a condition (action) we must do to receive it. We’ll cover many conditions in Part 4 of this series.

12. We receive the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:7-8)
Note: The Holy Spirit is our Helper. He will distribute the gifts of the Spirit as we need (Hebrews 2:4). He will guide us. He will bring to remembrance what we need to know (John -14). He is the unseen power that clothes us every day (Luke 24:29).

John 14:12
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me,
the works that I do, he will do also;
and greater works than these he will do;
because I go to the Father.
The Foundation Of Our Power:
ü Salvation – Knowing our rights as inheritors with Jesus.
ü Blood Of Christ – The power we have to overcome satan’s authority.
ü Holy Spirit – Our helper who’s always with us to; teach, guide and comfort us.
With these 3 foundational truths, you can walk daily in an “abundant life”, no matter what weapon is formed against you (Matthew 28:18).
John 16:33
"These things I have spoken to you,
so that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you have tribulation, but take courage;
I have overcome the world."
Watch for Part 3 –Your Weapons. They’re not bombs or guns, but a force so powerful, it affects the spiritual realm and how it manifests in the natural!
