Trust & Confidence In God Absolutely

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Provers 3:5-7 NASB

(5) “Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.

(6) In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

(7) Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.”

     Our obligation and responsibility as a child of the Father is to trust Him, believe His Word and have faith that what He promises, He will do!  We must learn to have absolute trust [belief] and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness.

     It is only by His Spirit that we have access to all the benefits of the blood covenant (Hebrews 10:15-22).

     The power of satan is nullified when confronted by an obedient child of God.  The twerp recognizes the stamp and seal of the Holy Spirit upon a person.  The Bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6).

     Notice it says “My people” – God’s people who accept salvation and trust God with ALL their hearts.  Hebrews 11:6 states, “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.”

     So it’s your obligation and duty to attain knowledge and understanding; thereby a relationship with your Father [Daddy] as He had with Adam and Even in the garden.  That’s His desire!  Let Him nurture the time He has with you.

Hebrews 10:16-17 NASB

(16) “THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT
I WILL MAKE WITH THEM
AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD:
I WILL PUT MY LAWS
UPON THEIR HEART,
AND ON THEIR MIND
I WILL WRITE THEM,”
He then says,

(17) “AND THEIR SINS AND
THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS
I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.”

Sanctification & Process

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 NASB

(3) “For this is the will of God,

your sanctification; that is, that you abstain 

from sexual immorality;

(4) that each of you know how to possess

his own vessel in sanctification and honor,”

     Sanctification is cleansing.  Cleansing is a process of detoxing a person from sins and iniquities.  The more cleansing we receive by applying God’s Word, the more blessings from God will flow into our lives.  Sanctification is also a process of beautification.

     The person becomes renewed as he or she commits and dedicates their life to serving God in Spirit and in truth.  Cleansing also uncovers the hidden treasure in us.  You will notice a desire to excel and use your talents and abilities to please God and others.

     Your body was created with an intricate and marvelous cleansing system that purifies your blood.  In the spiritual realm the blood of Jesus cleanses you from all sins, iniquities, sickness, diseases and pestilences.

     The process of Sanctification:  Our supernatural life doesn’t guarantee instant transformation or change.  We don’t become holy overnight.  But we must accept that Jesus Christ has already paid the price for us to enjoy our salvation.

     Everything necessary for us to live a victorious and harmonious life has already been provided.  God is waiting for us to take possession and appropriate all the awesome life-changing new things available, salvation provides for us.

     Growing, maturity and developing our spiritual muscles will take time, patience and much practice.  Our Father knows this is a process of sanctification, but He wants you to understand that you now have a new position as an accepted member of the family of God.

     You are not an outsider looking in.  You now have legal access to ALL of God’s blessings.

John 17:17, 19 NASB

(17) “Sanctify them in the truth;
Your word is truth.”

(19) “For their sakes I sanctify
Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.”

GOD’S UNLIMITED GIFTS

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

     Our Father God has provided us with everything pertaining to life and godliness.

2 Peter 2:3 NASB

“seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.”

     Yes, all that He’s called you to do, He’s already made available to you [Deuteronomy 28:1-14].  It’s your job to learn from His Knowledge to accomplish it.  That’s when you will hear “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’ [Matthew 25:21].  Those are the words I seek to hear from Him when I’m at the judgment seat.

2 Corinthians 5:10 NASB

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”

     There are so many blessings listed throughout the Bible that it would take many books to define them.  The gifts of eternal life; healing, deliverance from evil spirits, and the gift of restoration of our souls, are just a few.  2 Peter 1:4 says, “For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.”

     Many times doubt, fear, anxieties, tiredness, the news and even familiarity can cause us to become lazy and distant from God.

     By allowing ourselves to drift and be tossed around by adversity, we open the door for the little foxes to creep into our lives.  There has to be an absolute awareness of who God is and who we are in Christ Jesus.

     Without this certainty and knowledge, we tend to take our spiritual walk for granted.  Even when He promises to walk with us, never leaving or forsaking us [Deuteronomy 31:6] “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.”

1 John 4:4 NASB

“You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you

than he who is in the world.”

Build Your Relationship NOW With Jesus

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Acts 19:15-16 NASB

“And the evil spirit answered and said to them, “I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you? And the man, in whom was the evil spirit, leaped on them and subdued all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.”

     Evil spirits recognize the authority of Jesus and Paul, yet someone who doesn’t have a relationship with God the Father, Jesus His Only Begotten Son and the Holy Spirit which is given to all who have the Father and Son, has the authority from the Father over them.  So those who do not have the God-Head will not have any authority over any evil spirit.  Could that be  why you are having problems over your life?

1 John 2:18, 20, 23, 27 NASB

[18] “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.”

(20) “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.”

[23] “Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.”

[27] “As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.”

     You have the written Word of God to guide you and instruct you in all aspects of life and relationships.  You have the power of the Holy Spirit resident in your spirit to guide your steps and teach you all truth. This is how you learn to have a relationship with your Dad in Heaven.  It’s how you renew your mind and stop doing things the old ways, which never worked for you. It’s how you will mature and know the right thing to do and become more like Christ.  Your other option will be to keep being attacked like the man in Acts above.

     For this great salvation to become your greatest joy and possession, you must nurture it and protect the relationship between you and the Holy Spirit.  You must daily apply yourself to the discipline of conversing with Father God and listening and applying His wise counsel in the Bible.  Spiritual food is necessary to survive the onslaught of the enemy.

     Without a daily dose of supernatural food a Christian will become anemic and fruitless.  A barren tree is no good to anyone.  You cannot be effective without actively seeking the things of God.

Luke 13:25-27 NASB

[25] “Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’

[26] “Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’;

[27] and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.’

     The Holy Spirit speaks often through His Word – as you read it.  So read it daily so He can reveal what you need to know.  Seek first His kingdom and the rest shall follow [Matthew 6:33].

There Are Effects Without Repentance or Unforgiveness

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

     Repentance is easy to realize the effect.  IF you do not repent of your sins and ask the Lord into your heart, the major effect concerns your eternity.  You WILL GO TO Hades with satan.  But there are also minor ones.  If you don’t have a relationship with our Lord, then you are probably not reading His Word.  That effect would be very unhealthy and unblessed, even the Holy Spirit cannot help you, because He only lives in those who have repented and accepted Jesus.  Not to mention you probably are not tithing which means you are under a curse until you do.  Malachi 3:9 ““You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you!”

The word “tithe” means 10% which keeps the enemy at bay.  Offerings are different they are after you tithe, Malachi 1:9 tells us; “But now will you not entreat God’s favor, that He may be gracious to us?  With such an offering on your part, will He receive any of you kindly?” says the LORD of hosts.” 

     Think about it, what is more important to you, someone you gives you a gift because they have to, or someone who just wants to show you how much they care or that you are a special person to them?  God feels the same way, Matthew 13:8 refers to the seed planted and your harvest, “And others fell on the good soil and yielded a crop, some a hundred fold, some sixty, and some thirty.”  So plant your seed and watch it grow.  But my absolute favorite is Luke 6:38 [see below]. So as you give freely, you will receive freely.  When we become equipped with the right knowledge and truth, we are able to walk in faith and enjoy the blessings and promises already designated and predestined for us.

     Unforgiveness may be harder to recognize.  Having stomach problems, continual emotional stress, often angry, heart problems, ageing more rapidly?  These and so many more happen when you walk in unforgiveness, you soul becomes blackened because you are constantly allowing the enemy to throw his weight around in your life.  We don’t forgive because the other person is right or wrong, but because if we don’t, the door to the enemy is opened and he’s allowed to make us miserable.  Repent [which means change your ways.] Ask God for forgiveness and forgive that person for what they did to you.  It’s the only way to eliminate these effects on your life.  Follow Luke 13:7 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.  It’s that easy – in Jesus name of course.

Luke 6:38 NASB

“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”

THERE IS POWER IN YOUR TONGUE

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

     The tongue has much power, as stated in James 3:5 “So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!  Although the tongue can get us into much trouble, it can also be used for the Glory of our Father and in our protection from the enemy.

     By Faith and our legal standing in Christ includes the right to plead the Blood of Jesus, with an understanding that the power of the blood overcomes and defeats all evil.”  As soon as you declare or plead the blood of Jesus over someone or something by faith, satan will flee, because the blood of Jesus is alive and effective.  The enemy even went after Jesus 3 times and each time the enemy lost, until Jesus finally said “BEGONE”.  So don’t be surprised if he returns, just repeat the blood over your situation.

     Life is in the blood of Jesus.  The apostle made no mistake when he wrote, Hebrews 9:22 “And according to the Law, one may say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.”

     Because of the blood of Jesus, we are participants of many powerful, spiritual, and legal benefits from heaven.  God’s promises to us were included in our salvation.

Leviticus 17:11 NASB

‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.’

     So as you bless; pray, or intercede, for someone, plead the blood of Jesus over them, through their problems.  Stop the enemy from attacking them over and over again.  He has no rights when you do.  Then share the truth with your brothers and sisters.

Letting Go And Letting God

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

     As you enter into spiritual warfare prayers [praying for others] do not be moved by the increased negative behavior of your children, loved ones or friends.  Do not be moved by the lies and arguments, from any of them.

     They are not happy separated from God and know in their spirit He’s not there.  Just intensify your prayers and demonstrate your love when things seem to get worse.  Submit them to God.  Changing any one is not something you can do in your own strength and strategies.  Your ways Isaiah 64:6 says, “But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.”

     Your dependence and control will only bring disappointment and failure.  John 16:7-11 ““But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.”  Did you notice we’re not to judge anyone, especially a non-believer?  Always remember, Dad has different plans for each of us.  Some will be apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers.  Also, many born-again believers will be helpers for the five-fold ministries, ALL to be trained by the Holy Spirit – He knows His job and their purpose.

     There must be a complete surrendering to God of all your cares and concerns.  Only then will Dad be able to act on your behalf to perform His Word.  Keep calm and receive Fathers peace, especially when the storm is raging in intensity.

     Nothing confuses the enemy more than a child of God who is not moved by his tactics and strategies.  Go to Dad, and pray James 1:5-6 “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.”  SO ASK for it!

Your Power IS In His Name

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

     We’ve been given the Power and Authority to use our Lord's Name on this earth Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.”

     Jesus came that you would have life and that abundantly.  If we didn’t have authority over the devil (twerp) then how could this happen?  1 John 3:8 says, “the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning.  The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.”

    Demons tremble at the name of Jesus.  Every believer has been give authority over all the power of the enemy, in Jesus name.  When Peter and John faced threats and arrest from the priest and elders in Jerusalem, they reported it to their fellow believers, who prayed for them.  Acts 4:19:29-30 ““And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your Word with all confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.” 

     Notice, they didn’t tell the Lord their problem, they just asked him to speak and extend His hand to heal, and let signs and wonders take place.  Jesus said in John 4:48  “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe.”  For some reason, we tend to tell God the problem for 5-20 minutes, or tell Him “how to” fix the problem from beginning to end, even though He already knows it.  Hebrews 4:13 “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.”   In many cases, we just need to cry out HELP DAD!  Or possibly lay the problem at the cross – AND leave it there.  Dad knows every cell in your body, every thought you have, every word you speak, nothing is hidden from Him.

     Then, according to Acts 4:29-30 the Holy Spirit instantly responded, filling them with His Spirit.  Keep in mind, we’ve been taught for many years “seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness – THEN all these things shall be added unto you.” I wonder why we seek Him last, when all hope is gone.  Let’s repent (change our ways) ASK HIM FIRST it may take some time to remember, but practice makes it a habit, then we have the promise – IT SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU!

     Acts 3:6, you and I may be like Peter, not having silver or gold.  But we have what Isaiah 57:19 says, “Creating the praise of the [with our] lips.  Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near" Says the LORD, “and I will heal him.”  And I would ask each of you, who gave you your lips; your vocal cords, each breath that you take, etc.?   Now that’s something, I hope all of you think about for awhile – AND Praise the Father, your Dad for all you are and what He’s training you for in these last days.

Happy New Year

 Dear Brothers & Sisters,

    

     Hope you’ve cleaned your house and body for this New Year.  I haven’t heard the prophecies yet – but I expect it to be a hard year for the non-christians, while we have a hedge of protection around us, until Jesus comes.  We’ll need to wear the armor of God daily to get through – that’s what He gave it to us for – protection.

     This year you can celebrate your NEW COVENANT, that’s almost three thousand years old, without an expiration date.  A covenant that blesses, a covenant, you don’t have to work for.  A covenant, that brings fellowship with our Lord Jesus and His inheritance, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, plus an eternal life with Christ in the New Jerusalem.  Lord Jesus come quickly I pray!

1 John 2:17-18, 27  NASB

(17) “The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does
the will of God lives forever.

(18) Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that
it is the last hour.”

 (27) “As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you,

and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.”

     These versus speak much to Christians.  First, it’s true that our world is passing away.  Many are dying of venereal diseases, drugs, abortion, terrorists, famine, and so much more.  All of these, the Bible speaks of in Galatians 5:19-21.  “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”  The Word tells us in the Old and New Testaments, so no matter when you read it, you’ll know the truth.  To me, the works of the flesh are all of the enemy’s works to keep our eyes away from Jesus.

     Yet we can exchange all those with Galatians 5:22-23.  “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”  Have you realized that these are the characteristics of God?  We know that the lust of the body is always in a battle against our spirit and soul.   Because we are a Spirit, that has a Soul and lives in a Body.

     Do you wonder why we fight the flesh so much, it’s 17 flesh against 9 fruit, AND WE STILL WIN!!  How can it be otherwise with John 14:26 saying, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”  Question, have you ever lost something and asked the Holy Spirit to find it for you?  He does, and lets you know where it is.

     The Holy Spirit also has the job of convicting the world of sin in John 16:8 “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”  We need to be careful not to convict anyone of sin – that’s the Holy Spirit’s job.  Remember, judge not, least you be judged – ouch!

     The anti-christ is on the run – he knows how little time he has left.  Yet, we Christians were given an anointing, so we could overcome the Fathers enemy.  The Holy Spirit, not only convicts the world of sin, but teaches us what the Word means.  He guides our path to victory in Jesus.

     My brothers and sisters, hang in there.  He truly is coming soon!

May this New Year be a blessing in abundance to all, look up for our Redemption draws neigh.
