Fast For Israel - Sept 22nd 6PM - 23rd 6pm

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

So many are against Israel today - we need to fast & Pray for them daily.  Sept 22nd is their DAY OF ATTONMENT (Yom Kippur) - they really need our help and unity of the Spirit.  I know fasting may be hard for some, but I'm sure you can fast at least 1 meal for them.

Here's what this day means to them.

2015  DAY OF ATTONEMENT (Yom Kippur)

Let’s Stand As One Body
Together For Israel
After all, O’bama has rejected them.
Let the true believers stand with Israel!

Leviticus 23:26-32 (NASB)
26  The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
27  "On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the LORD.
28  "You shall not do any work on this same day, for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement on your behalf before the LORD your God.
29  "If there is any person who will not humble himselfon this same day, he shall be cut off from his people.
30  "As for any person who does any work on this same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.
31  "You shall do no work at all. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
32  "It is to be a sabbath of complete rest to you, and you shall humble your souls; on the ninth of the month at evening, from evening until evening you shall keep your sabbath."

What is the purpose of Day of Atonement Based On The Scriptures Above?
To atone for something, you humble yourself by acknowledging the wrong you’ve done.  For the Jew, it is to ask forgiveness for their 1 year of sins.  If the Jews do not do this, they’re cut off from the Lord and their inheritance.
What are the Jews to do on this day?
They are to FAST, because this is a serious time, to consider their rebellion and let their spirit guide them in truth.  They are to present an offering to the Lord, treat this day like a Sabbath day meaning no work, rest only.  And humble themselves before the Lord.

What should we do as Christians?
Declare to the Lord a fast for Israel, on this Day of Atonement.  Ask the Lord for forgiveness of their sins (John 20:23).  Take communion for all Israel claiming what Jesus has offered to them in Isaiah 53:4-6 and that their eyes would be opened and their ears would hear.  Stay in His Word this day.  Maybe read the book of Esther who saved all Israel from extinction – because like Esther, how do you know you weren’t “called for a time such as this” The book of Ruth would also be appropriate, since she turned to God when she had nothing left and because of her love of Naomi.  The book of Ezra tells us how the Israelites went from lack of knowledge, to each step they took toward Jerusalem, learning His ways and repenting. There are so many Old Testament books to chose from – but take the time to dwell on what you’ve read and ask the Holy Spirit to tell you even more.  Speak the blessings to Israel in Numbers 6:23-27.  Keep in mind, those who bless Israel will be blessed (Genesis 12:3).

Numbers 6:23-27 (NASB)
23 "Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘Thus you shall bless the sons of Israel. You shall say to them:
24  The LORD bless you, and keep you;
25  The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you;
26  The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.’
27  "So they shall invoke My name on the sons of Israel, and I then will bless them."

Aaron was High Priest, his sons were priests, and the Lord has made us His priests.  So what should we do?

SPEAK verses 24-26 to Israel.  Why?  Verse 27 says the Lord will bless us and we need all the blessings we can get in these coming days!
Pray daily for them using Isaiah 57:17-19 and expect the PROMISES of GOD to fall on you and them.

Isaiah 57: 17-19 (NASB)
17   "Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry and struck him; I hid My face and was angry, And he went on turning away, in the way of his heart.
18  "I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners,
19  Creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near," Says the LORD, "and I will heal him."

It takes your lips to speak “SHALOM, SHALOM” (or PEACE, PEACE) to Israel, for the Lord to heal them, lead them and restore their comfort.

May the Lord; bless you and keep you; make His face shine on you, be gracious to you; lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace.

AMEN!
Sandy

Soon, My Bride

KS, Carson City, NV

My Own,

I hear your pleas for ME to call you home.  You don't fit in this wicked world.  You reside in a corrupt and morally declining world.  I weep at the evil men who harm their own for greed.  These evil ones shall reap what they sow and even more.
MY very Spirit yearns to have you here with ME in Heaven.  I eagerly await MY Father's cue to call you home.
You desire to be with ME, and I will call MY Bride home soon.  I Love you.

Romans 8:22-23 NKJ
22  "For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.
23  Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body."

Warriors – It’s Time To Fight!

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters In Christ,

If you’re a Born-Again believer in Christ, then you are a Warrior, not a victim nor a puppet for satan on this earth to steal, kill or destroy.  Know this because  1 John 4:4 says“You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”

It’s time to stand up and fight the enemy with our words.  Jesus asked His Father to give us His Power (John 17).  So never doubt, we have the Power of Christ within us and can overcome evil in every situation (Revelation 12:11).
The Word tells us the angels are a little higher than humans (Hebrews 2:7), yet they too had to fight the spirits of the air with help (Daniel 10:12-13).  Since Romans 8:9 says that “we are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit” then our prayers affect the Spiritual realm including the “prince of the power of the air” and his cohorts.  How?
1)  Start with interceding for God’s ministering spirits and the work they’ve been called on earth to do.  They’re fighting on our behalf and the manifestation of our prayers.  Because we have the power of Jesus in us and the Holy Spirit to guide us, by binding the enemy against interfering with God’s plans, we can strengthen God’s army.  So lift up your sword (Word), for that’s all the enemy understands and must obey in Jesus’ Name.
Start taking your authority; morning, noon and night, to protect your family, prodigals, widows, orphans and your neighbors.  Don’t stop until the battle is won for each of them.
2)  Be renewed and strengthened in His Word.  Pray every time you read the Word, Ephesians 1:17- 20 and make it personal.  Pray that God, the Father of Jesus, will give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus.  Ask to have your eyes and heart opened and flooding you with the hope of His calling and the power to you because you believe (Matthew 10:7-8).
3)  ASK for the Holy Spirit to guide you in what to say and do.  The more we depend on Him, the stronger we’ll be.  ASK for the “joy of the Lord” to give you strength as you fight each battle.

We all have specific jobs to accomplish.  Don’t worry about the differences in what others have been called to do – just finish your race!
THIS IS A WAR WE’RE IN on earth, a battle for the very souls of mankind.  We have help – ministering angels (Hebrews 1:13-14) and we have the power and authority of Christ, to aid them in doing their work.  Yes, angels are strong, but to help them, we can command every demon and ungodly spirit out of their path to help those we intercede for.  So let’s plough the field, so they can do quickly what they need to do, in the air and on earth to help us (Luke 6:38).
Remember, we’re ALL HIS WARRIORS, so draw your sword.  It’s time to do some spiritual battle against the enemy and win!

Psalms 34:7
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him,
And rescues them.”

Be blessed in the battles you do for the Lord in these latter days.

Lessons From Jonah #3

SF, Carson City, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters In Christ,
(Continued from 8/21/15)

Something we all need to be reminded of from time to time – God may hate sin, but He LOVES SINNERS.  Why?  A sinner can repent (change), but sin cannot.  Did you also notice that God not only cared about innocent people, but the animals too?  Know that God cares about every living thing He created!

Although Jonah ends here, you should know that he helped restore the territory of Israel (2 Kings 14:25).  Jonah’s also in Matthew 12:39-41, 16:4, 16:17, Luke 11:29-32 comparing him to Jesus being in the earth 3 days and 3 nights.  And how the men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because Nineveh repented, at the preaching of Jonah.
Finally, (John 1:42 KVJ, NKJ) Jesus’ disciple Simon Peter was in the lineage of Jonah, called the “rock” and Jesus gives him his purpose – “feed My flock” (John 21:15) and we know how much Simon Peter was used in the New Testament.
So for Jonah, I believe he learned his lessons well, since in the New Testament he’s mentioned several times – comparing his life with Jesus, and his descendants learning directly from Jesus – what a lineage.
Here are some lessons we can apply in our own life and relationships, based on Jonah:
1.      You cannot hide from God!
2.     God did and will, even in our anger; love, comfort and deliver us, because He searches our hearts and knows our love for Him.
3.     God always has a purpose when He tells us to do anything.  It can be to warn of judgment, give people (nations) a chance to repent.  It can be a warning of what’s coming or instructions of what to do.  Whatever it is – don’t hide, just do it for the Lord and praise Him for His plans.
4.     God LOVES even those who haven’t chosen Him yet and so should we.  So pray, intercede and bless the unsaved to be all that God has called them to be.
5.     God LOVES all His Creation – even innocent animals and He’s waiting for the least to the greatest to know it.

The moral of Jonah’s story:  God knows the hearts of man.  If they lack knowledge, and cause hurt to you or themselves – it’s only because they don’t have the Holy Spirit YET!  Forgive them, bless them and realize they can’t understand what they’re missing or the goodness of our God.

Matthew 18:33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant,
just as I had pity on you?

Have compassion and intercede for the hell they’re going through.  Remember, you also walked in their shoes – unsaved and someone prayed and revealed Jesus to you – PTL!

Learn and be blessed in these lessons from Jonah – in these latter days, especially when the twerp (enemy) knows his time is almost up! PTL!

Blessings of much LOVE to all of you
The Lord’s Servant

Lessons From Jonah #2

SF, Carson City, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters In Christ,
(Continued from 8/19/15)

Back to Jonah, God wanted him to obey.  Why?  To see, as we must, that He loves all mankind.  Even those who have no knowledge except to follow satan.  Every human has been born on earth to make one important decision – Where will they spend eternity?  And it must be done freely and from the heart.  To make that choice, all must see the truth about God the Creator, Jesus our Savior, Holy Spirit our Comforter/Teacher and Lucifer the wannabe god (Isaiah 14:12-14).

Jonah 2:8-10 “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy,
but I will sacrifice unto Thee with the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay that which I have vowed.  Salvation is of the LORD.
And the LORD spoke unto the fish,
and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.”

Remember, we have a God of second (plus) chances – no matter what we’ve done; He’ll forgive us and bring us back to His fold (Luke 15:4-7).  There’s only one time limit that I know of – you must come or return to Jesus, before you take your last breath.  I do know there have been men today like Jonah, who have gone to hell and returned, but it was to give their testimony of what hell is really like – a place of torment 24/7 with no exists!
Back again to Jonah (chapter 3) where Nineveh fasted, prayed and repented (changed their ways) asking God for forgiveness.  When God saw their works, He revoked His decision and Nineveh was saved, but Jonah still needs help.  That’s all it took for Nineveh and it’s all it takes for us, so we need to be careful about condemning anyone, for we never know when or IF they will turn their life over to the Lord, as we have.  If you have anger still, take another lesson Jonah learned.
We see Jonah going to the Lord (chapter 4) very angry.  He said Lord; I knew you were a Gracious and Merciful God.  That’s why he ran in the opposite direction.  Jonah’s desire is to die now, because of the redemption given Nineveh.  That kind of anger had to come from a great deal of hurt.  But God’s only response was – Do you do well to be angry?  Another words, being angry because someone who hurt you is forgiven is a waste of time, because we were all sinners in need of forgiveness.
Jonah sat outside the city in a booth he built, to watch what God would do.  God made a gourd (shading plant) grow up over Jonah to shade (comfort) and deliver him from his evil (judgment).  Yet Jonah only recognized and thankful for the shade it gave him.  In his anger, he couldn’t see Gods’ loving care, to deliver him from his anger.
So the next day, God had the gourd wither and brought a hot east wind; making Jonah faint from the heat.  In desperation, again Jonah said, its better I die than live.  Gods’ response was to ask him, if it was good he was angry about the loss of a gourd?  Jonah said yes – angry enough to die.
Notice God’s final answer to Jonah in the Message Bible (paraphrased) “What’s this?  How is it you can change your feeling from pleasure to anger overnight, about a mere shade tree (gourd) in one day that you did nothing to get?  So why can’t I change what I feel about Nineveh from anger to pleasure?  Nineveh has more than 120,000 childlike people who don’t know right from wrong, to say nothing of all these innocent animals.”

Lessons From Jonah #1

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

The Prophets in the Bible have much to teach us, so I thought I’d share the principals we can use today, from Jonah’s book.
Jonah was God’s prophet, told to go to Nineveh and proclaim God’s judgment against them.  Nineveh was the capital of Assyria (today; Iran, Iraq and part of Saudi Arabia) a city of about 120,000.  But Jonah fled to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish, a remote Phoenician city, to hide from the Lord.
Why would Jonah or any of God’s children for that matter, want to hide from the Lord?  History indicates the Assyrians were Israel’s worst enemy.  And I was once told that the troops from Nineveh killed Jonah’s family.  So the last thing he wanted to do was have God offer them salvation – in any form.  But being one of God’s prophets (or servants), how could he believe there’s any place he could hide from God?
I’ve never seen anywhere in the Bible, “you must forgive 70 x 7 times” except...” (Matthew 18:21-22)  And since we don’t live under the old covenant, “an eye for an eyeDeuteronomy 19:21 doesn’t apply today.  Thankfully, we have a God of Loving-kindness and Mercy, I can understand Jonah’s rebellion to obey God, I’d be angry if someone killed my family too.  Yet God knows our very thoughts (Luke 11:17 & John 2:25), He new Jonah’s plans – and prepared accordingly.
Yes, God sent Jonah to Sheol (hell), but to show him what would be IF he followed his emotions instead of God’s purpose.  So in reality, God was giving Jonah another chance to change (repent) and obey God.  How often have things gone so wrong, against our prayers and we don’t understand why God would allow it to happen?  Could it be that God has another plan for us too, as Jesus did for us (Isaiah 53: 4-6)?
I can’t speak for everyone, but I believe God puts us on paths (trials) to:
1.      Strengthen us. (Luke 22:32)
2.     Change our direction, like Paul on the road to Damascus. (Acts 26:12-18)
3.     Reveal Himself to us. (John 4:48)
4.     Correct the path we’ve taken. (Philemon 1:4)
5.     Develop our fruit. (Matthew 12:33-37)
6.     Complete what we’ve been called to do. (Psalms 139:13)
The 6 points above would be advantageous to any Christian to remember.  For many lose heart with God, or just get weary with life, while they go through the valleys – learning His purpose for them.  But always remember, He holds our hand, so we don’t fall to far (Psalms 37:23-24).  Best advice I can give anyone, is we have a God who is faithful and a God of fidelity – ask Him to bless you (Jeremiah 4:1-2 AMP) in the time of your trials and reveal what you need to see, then Praise Him in ALL things, because He has a way of working all things together for good (Romans 8:28-29).

SAMPLE BLESSINGS TO CHANGE CIRCUMSTANCES

SF, Stagecoach, NV

 Dear Brothers & Sisters,

When we pray, we don't necessarily need to tell God the problem, He already knows.  We just need to open the door for Him to work in others, as is His Will.

Matthew 5:43  “Ye have heard that it hath been said,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44  But I say unto you, Love your enemies,
bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you,
and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45  That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:
for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good,
and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46  For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?
do not even the publicans the same?”

We are to bless, not curse.  Why?  Because the Lord does not work through cursing – only the twerp (satan) does.  We bless, to allow the Holy Spirit to enter into the situation (or person) to guide them in Gods’ ways.
So here are some blessings that will change the circumstances of any situation.

Speak to SOMEONE, as you would want to be blessed by God:
I declare Shalom over you.  I release you to fulfill all the purposes of God.  I declare over you that you would come into ALL the knowledge of the Son of God.  That you would be a joy for your family and friends, that you would fulfill the calling and essence of God for your own life as well.

Speak to the UNSAVED:
I bless them to come into the knowledge of the Son of God.  I bless them to have revelation of the Lord Himself.

Speak to your JOB:
I bless the work and people; God has created to bless me with.  I declare a manifestation of the Lord to be seen by others.

Speak to your BODY:
I bless every organ, tissue and blood cell in my body because according to Psalm 139, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”.  This body is what you have given me, so I thank you Lord for the restoration of each part.   I also ask that my Spiritual eyes and ears be opened, to build a more intimate relationship with you.

Speak to those in AUTHORITY OVER YOU:
Bless those that spitefully use me.   Things can be reversed.  Bless my place of business and all co-workers.  I declare their office is a place of Peace (Shalom).

Speak to your SPOUSE, CHILDREN and FAMILY:
You are a gift from God.  The Lord has put us together.
As my SPOUSE, I bless you, for I am your helpmate and partner in life, for the Lord says we are one.
I bless my CHILDREN, for I am a caretaker over them.  I will train them up in the ways of the Lord and daily I cover them in the blood of Christ for protection from this world.
I bless ALL my FAMILY, to receive Salvation and be fruitful and multiply.  That they take authority over evil and be overcomers in this world.

Speak a blessing to a STRANGER:
May the Lord release you to fulfill the very purpose of God, which He as called you to and ordained you for.  May you fulfill all the desires that God has for you and may you sense the longing and hunger of God within you.  May you not be intimidated or threatened by anything or anyone.  You will not be the tail, but you shall rise up and see your life come into its full destiny.  IN THE NAME OF THE LORD – Amen.

Blessings to each of you,
The Lord's Servant

WOE To The Wicked

KS, Carson City, NV

My People,
Look around you.  Do you see the decline of mankind?  Do you see the evil men waxing worse and worse?  Do you see the lack of respect for human life?  I DO!
I told you this would be: MY Word is Truth.  All this means is that the time grows shorter to the end.  It means that I will take MY Children out of the mess that the world has become!  It means that I can no longer hold back MY Judgment on a wicked world that grows more ungodly by the second.
You cannot deal with the ungodly wicked and expect a just compromise.  The two are incompatible.  They are the opposite of each other.  You foolish and wicked leaders have sold your souls tot he devil!

Isaiah 5:20-21 NKJ
20  "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;
that put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21  Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes,
and prudent in their own sight!"

Will God Use You?

SF, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

If anyone reading this, thinks you must be raised to be an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor or Teacher (Ephesians 4:11), to work for God in a ministry of any kind, I’d like you to meet Amos.
Amos was a humble sheepherder, not a son of a prophet or minister, just a man (lay-person) like you and I.  A man who provided for his family and loved God, UNTIL…
God said, Amos;
I want you to go to My People Israel and tell them…

I have to admit, my first response might have been, “Is that you Lord?”  Or “satan, GET THEE BEHIND ME!”  But Amos had a relationship with the Lord, because he knew His voice (John 10:25-30) and didn’t doubt it was God.
Read AMOS Chapter 7, where God gave him a series of visions to show him who, where, what and why He wanted Amos to speak.  Amos had no doubt it was God guiding him, he just obeyed, as we should do – IF it agrees with the Word.
We know the prophesy in Joel 2:28, but would you leave your home or just say to someone, what God wants them to hear like Amos did even in a store?  Joel knew these days were coming and we’d need to prophesy to mankind.  That’s why we’re assured today that this is now our job.  In Acts 2:17-18 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.  And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days My Spirit, and they shall prophesy.”   It doesn’t matter if you receive a “prophetic word” or a “word of knowledge” for someone, because the Holy Spirit “distributes to each one individually as He wills”.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11
“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.  But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”

I’d like to share a few insights about Amos’ visions in this chapter.  After reading 7:1-3, I saw God showing Amos a vision of the destruction of Israel using a swarm of locusts, devouring the kings’ spring crop.  When Amos saw this, he interceded for Israel, asking for Gods' pardon (forgiveness), because Israel had become so small, they’d be wiped out.  And keep in mind Amos was from the tribe of Judah, not an Israelite.  Yet when Amos interceded, God relented and revoked His sentence on Israel.  This happened again in 7:4-6, only this time the sentence was for Israel to be devoured by fire.  Again Amos interceded and God relented.
Here’s what I saw as unique, not that Amos had a vision because many in the Old Testament had dreams and visions.  But:
  1. In a vision/dream from God, you can speak – ask questions or intercede, not just watch, but participate.
  2. In your vision/dream from God, you can have a one-on-one encounter with Him.
  3. Like Abraham and Amos, we can intercede/pray for the situation or person God reveals to us, and can possibly change His mind.  Because He IS a merciful God.
Surprised you have that capability?  You shouldn’t be, in fact you should be asking the Lord for dreams or visions, because it’s the easiest way for Him to give us the answers or warnings in life we need to finish our race.
I’m sure Amos was relieved when God revoked His punishment for Israel, but God also revealed in 7:7-9, that only for a time would He relent with His Mercy.  The choice will be theirs.  Since God is the same; yesterday, today and forever this word holds true for each of us – the choice is ours how we live.
A crooked (unbalanced) house will fall, so God guides us with His plum-line (His Word) to keep us on the straight and narrow path to Heaven.  Since our house was built on sand at birth, He wants to exchange it for the solid Rock of Jesus – that means we’re “under construction” ever learning, practicing and seeking a personal relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
But here’s the kicker, IF we refuse to stay on His plum-line and continue on our own path, there will be punishment as Amos warned the Israelites.  God disciplines the ones He loves and yes, we can pray and intercede for anyone; person, nation or situation, but without repentance (change) God’s justice will be given to each individual eventually.
For me, Amos is the fulfillment of the Word in 1 Corinthians 1:27, “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;”.  And who better to reveal a “word” to a king, dictator, person or minister, what God says… then using someone they see as “less qualified” then themselves?
One last note, in 7:10-17 did you notice God took care of Amos’ adversary Amaziah with His justice?  So never fear when you deliver a message of God’s, because it’s not up to you if they receive it or not – just speak His words exactly and the rest is up to the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:19-21  NKJ
And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Be blessed in the doors you open to the Lord in these latter days.  You only need ears to hear, and eyes to see, and be an obedient servant of the Lord.

The Lord’s Servant

PS:  You might start asking Him for dreams and visions - remember, you have not, because you ask not.  And we are in "the last days".

Prayer: The Basics of Starting Your Day

SF, Stagecoach, NV
Dear Brothers & Sisters,

So many wonder where the Lord is during their day, we miss Him, because we don't start our day including Him and His blessings.  Thought this might help some, who need the help to open the doors for the Lord to help their day.

Psalms 5:3O Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; In the morning will I order my prayer unto thee, and will keep watch.”

Matthew 6:7  “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition, as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.”

We need to get back to the BASICS of LIFE!  As children, we’re all taught to memorize the one and only prayer Jesus taught His disciples.  I know I stopped using it, because it became repetitious, which we’re told not to do.  So, I thought I’d share how the Holy Spirit revealed to me PERFECT PRAYER to start my day.
Jesus prayed early morning, before anyone else was up, and then He’d ministered to the people.  Often He prayed when He finished ministering that day.  Sometimes, Jesus just separated Himself from everyone and prayed all night.
The disciples saw how much He prayed, and during the day when He ministered they also saw the miracles done in minutes or seconds.  The blind would see and the lame would walk when He commanded it.
Once, when they couldn’t cast out a demon, they asked Jesus why.  He told them in Mark 9:29 that some only come out by prayer and fasting.  I believe they finally put it together, so they asked Jesus to teach them to pray.
Jesus said “in this manner pray, so let’s take these versus one at a time.  Jesus never told them to repeat this prayer over and over, no He said “in this manner pray”.  So we’re going to take the principals of what He said and pray as He said to.

Matthew 6:9  “After this manner therefore pray ye. Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.”
This tells us that we are to pray to GOD the Father.  Many pray to Jesus, Holy Spirit or an Angel, which is not what we’re told to do.  Also, when we pray, we are to acknowledge His name for Who He Is and What He’s Done.
1.    So…Pray to God, Praise His Name and acknowledging who He is and what He accomplished in your life.

Matthew 6:10  “Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven..
This tells us IT IS HIS KINGDOM, not ours.  That we need to ask, that HIS WILL BE DONE, on earth, as it is in Heaven.  If you are unsure of His Word, seek Him out.  Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you His Will.  We’re told, that IF YOU abide in Him and His Word in you, you can ask for anything!
2.    Pray His Word (in any situation) to manifest on earth as it is in heaven, then Praise Him for the answer.

Matthew 6:11  “Give us this day our daily bread.”
Tells us to ask for our daily bread.  Food that sustains you daily, so you won’t become weak.  Remember, God said not to worry about tomorrow, because there is enough evil to deal with today (Matt 6:34).
3.    Pray for your daily food, both spiritual and physical

Matthew 6:12  “And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.”
Says to forgive anyone who’s hurt you or owes you anything.  If you don’t, you will not be forgiven.  Having un-confessed sin is something we Christians rarely do, but we can open a door for the enemy, whenever we neglect to forgive others and that’s where the enemy gets us. Un-forgiveness hardens the heart and stops the blessing from reaching you!  Know, that IS NOT His will!  And it’s so important, He wants us to take care of it daily.  This would also pertain, in partaking of Communion.
4.    Pray for forgiveness and forgive others who’ve hurt you.

Matthew 6:13  “And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
Says to ask God that we are not lead into temptation, but that we are delivered from satan’s attack.  Luke 22:40 also says Jesus told His disciples to pray that they wouldn’t enter into temptation.  Why do you think we’re told to eliminate temptation?  I believe it’s because God knows how weak we are and it’s so natural for the flesh to stray (Matt 26:41, Mark 14:38).  We’re also told in Romans 8:7 that the flesh is hostile toward God and unable change.
5.    Pray you’re not tempted by the flesh, but delivered from any evil around you.  That only God is our King and has the power to change our circumstance, which brings Him the glory forever.  Also see, Luke 11:1-4

By praying in this manner, your prayers will not become just repetitive words.  By covering the items Jesus said to pray daily, you will be entreating God with your basic needs.  You’ll be praising Him, acknowledging Him and allowing Him to direct your path!  Don’t forget the rules set up.  God needs a vessel, just like the devil does.  But until we ask, He can’t give.

1.    Pray to God, Praise His Name acknowledging who He is in your life.
2.    Pray His Word (in any situation) to manifest on earth as it is in heaven.
3.    Pray for your daily food (this would include any of your needs).
4.    Pray for forgiveness and forgive others who’ve hurt you.
5.    Pray you’re not tempted by the flesh, but delivered from all evil that day. (or to overcome evil with good.)

OT = Repentance & NT = Restoration

SK, Stagecoach, NV

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Old Testament = Repentance and Change
New Testament = Forgiveness and Restoration

Old Testament was written to God’s chosen; they already belonged to Him as we do.  There are a lot of stories about how Israel sinned throughout the OT.  Yet it wasn’t until they left Egypt that God gave them the 10 commandments, to know what God expected from them. Here are some scriptures from OT about repenting.

Numbers 23:19  "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
God said repentance is necessary – and He doesn’t lie.  Those who don’t do what they say, need to repent.  Jesus never sinned on earth, so no repentance was needed, but the rest of us sure do - daily.
1 Kings 8:47  “if they take thought in the land where they have been taken captive, and repent and make supplication to Thee in the land of those who have taken them captive, saying, ‘We have sinned and have committed iniquity, we have acted wickedly’;”  (also 2 Chronicles 6:37)
Those who are in captivity (God’s children who live in the fruit of the flesh – Gal 5:19-21), need to get forgiveness to be set free and restored to God.
Jeremiah 26:3  ‘Perhaps they will listen and everyone will turn from his evil way, that I may repent of the calamity which I am planning to do to them because of the evil of their deeds.”
Repentance admits our sin and our wiliness to sin no more.  This also stops satan from being allowed to cause calamity in our lives, because our relationship with God becomes restored and protected.
Ezekiel 14:6-8  "Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, "Repent and turn away from your idols, and turn your faces away from all your abominations.  For anyone of the house of Israel or of the immigrants who stay in Israel who separates himself from Me, sets up his idols in his heart, puts right before his face the stumbling block of his iniquity,…..  … and I shall cut him off from among My people. So you will know that I am the LORD. ”
Sin separates us from God.  Not much hope in OT, but with Jesus we can be restored.
2 Chronicles 6:21- 39  Solomon asked the Lord to hear the peoples (Jews and foreigners) prayers when they ask for forgiveness.
Luke 15: 21  "And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’”
The prodigal child belonged to the father already, (Israel) yet he confessed his sin and he asked for forgiveness, admitting he wasn’t worthy to be forgiven.  Yet the father accepted Him back and rejoiced for his return – just as our heavenly Father does.
I Cor 11:27-32.  We are to judge ourselves and be held accountable to God’s judgment.  Verses 29-32 say, “if we judge rightly we will not be judged”.
Individually we ask for forgiveness or not, for individually we will be judged.
Matthew 6:12.  In the Lord’s Prayer, daily we’re to forgive so we can be forgiven (which we need).  I believe this is not just our debts to man, but also any against God.
Romans 6: 14  “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
We, the captives of satan, have been set free (redeemed) and are no longer under his dominion (control), but we still live in a dirty body that is now under grace.  “Grace” is a Greek word here that means undeserved favor.  We don’t deserve to be forgiven, but as His child, He will forgive us anything when we’re under the blood of the Lamb.
1 John 1: 7- 10  “but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.  If we (Christians) say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in usIf we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.”
1 John 2:1-2  “My little children (saved), I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world" (non-saved).
1st, 2nd and 3rd John, were written to Christians – more like a pastor talking to his people.  Also, these were written before John went to
Patmos where he then wrote Revelation.  In first John, sin is the topic for the Christian not to fall into and that if we sin, we must ask for forgiveness and thru Christ we will be forgiven.  I believe Chapter 2 confirms that John is talking to Christians but wants those unsaved who hear or read this passage to know God’s forgiveness is available to them too.

Brothers and Sisters, I must admit, this question had me going for awhile because your precept is correct, in that the NT has soooo much written for the salvation of our souls and how we’re to grow and act.  But as usual, these 2 scriptures hold true….
Isaiah 28:10-12.  “For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little."  Truly, with stammering lip and with alien tongue he will speak to this people, to whom he has said, "This is rest; give rest to the weary; and this is repose"; yet they would not hear.”
2 Peter 1-3.  “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.”
